Best opportunity if you want to have wonderful pictures and a Great experience at Emerald Lake. You are parking in a hotel parking lot lower than the parking lot for visitors of the lake. You will not Park by the lodge itself, they have a shuttle bus which drives you up and down from the parking lot to the lodge. Service stuff is very friendly and helpful. The main house is also location of the restaurant and bar. Non-complimentary breakfast (yes you always have to pay for it), lunch and dinner are served in the main lodge house. Breakfast and also dinner selections are good but also very pricey. About the rooms: Rooms are very nice, but a little bit dark. Be reminded the rooms have no AC, no fridge (you are not allowed to bring any outside food with you anyway). The fireplace is really nice, didn't use it in summer. The small balcony was nice to have an overview over the Lake. The room also doesn't have a TV, but with such a scenery, view and breath-taking landscape and lake you don't need a TV. What is not so nice is that they don't have any WiFi in the room, so you always need to go to the lobby of the main lodge house to be able to use WiFi. What was really nice that we got greeted by the lodge with a small welcome card due to our honeymoon trip. The rooms aren't very soundproof, could hear the loud neighbors below. But all in all it was an amazing experience

Tolle Lage, Café und Hot Tub geschlossen - kein Rabatt o.ä. dafür, kein WiFi im Haupthaus (wohl ein Problem in Field dafür verantwortlich), Zimmer überheizt und Heizung lässt sich nicht regulieren, Zimmer auch in die Jahre gekommen, Bad sauber, unter den Betten wurde schon lange nicht mehr gesaugt. Fazit: hoher Preis für wenig Leistung.

The rooms need an upgrade, the rooms are very cramped and the furniture is very outdated and bulky. The internet was very patchy. There were no hooks to hang the jackets in the room and the space was very tight for a family of four.

Far and away, the scenery has to be one of the most beautiful on earth, and stole the show. We would have rated five stars, but we were not offered luggage assistance upon arrival, and the rooms are very far from the main lodge. Whew! Were we tired after lugging our bags! Other than that, we had a wonderful time. Great hiking! Good food. Suggest a gift shop with Emerald Lake merchandise . Daniel at the bar really made us feel welcome; great person.

Superb location offering an opportunity to disconnect with the digital world. Villas were well maintained and the dine in options were plenty. Dedicated and professional staff elevated our experience. Parking was a bit of a hassle to begin with but we got used to the shuttle service which operated at a frequency of 10 mins. No mobile network in that area and wifi access available only in the main lodge.

It’s all about the location. Absolutely gorgeous. We were lucky that there were no tour groups staying so we had no problem getting into the restaurants. Highly recommend! One suggestion…a less expensive breakfast option especially for those travelling with children.

Everything was amazing on our stay! Very magical place to be in! The lodge was amazing, firewood ready for you to lit and more available just outside your door. The only thing is, bring your drinks (beer,wine) as the only place we got ours was from the restaurant and it’s not cheap(restaurant price per single beer), bring game boards or card games (wifi is slow where we stayed, wifi is only at the main lodge and can reach our room but slow), and we probably didn’t figure the AC because after we are done with our fireplace, the room obviously was hot and we had a hard time sleeping so we just opened the patio door that oversees the lake that solved the problem. All in all, amazing!
