Renovierter alter Palast und gute Lage
Wunderschön renovierter alter Palast, sehr schöne Umgebung, gute Lage. Was für uns nicht so gepasst hat, die Junior Suite ist zwar 40m2 gross, dies aber aufgeteilt auf 6-7 Räume, somit alles sehr klein und düster. Gemütlich fanden wir es nicht, aber das ist auch dem Palast-Feeling geschuldet.

Herausragendes Hotel 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Auf das schönste Hotel Marokkos wird man schnell durch alle Bewertungen aufmerksam. Die Lage, das schmuckvolle Interieur, das zuvorkommende Personal, die hervoragend ausgestattete Bar mit allen erdenklichen Coctails und Weine, den Spa mit eigenem Hamam und Innenpool, sowie das Restaurant sind der Grund warum Promis hier untersteigen. Besonders herausragend fand ich die Gastfreundlichkeit, vor allem ein Upgade zur Suite Embessadeur war einfach nur übertrieben schön! Keine nervigen Autos und direkte Anbindung zwischen der traditionellen Medina und der Innenstadt.

Gutes Hotel mit tollem Blick von der Terrasse
Das Hotel liegt direkt am Rand der Medina und ist somit sehr gut geeignet für Stadtbesichtigungen, wenn man mal nicht im direkten Trubel wohnen möchte. Der Inhaber ist ständig präsent und sehr um seine Gäste bemüht. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde eine Hotelmanager eingestellt, was dem Haus sicher gut tun wird, da man manchmal den Eindruck hatte, dass etwas Übersicht und eine ordnende Hand nötig ist. Bei unserer Ankunft fehlte z.B. das bestellte Zusatzbett und auch das Bad war nicht so sauber, wie man es erwarten darf. Es dauerte dann ein wenig zu lange, bis das berichtigt war, weil die Zuständigkeiten unterhalb des Personals nicht klar waren. Nach diesen Anlaufschwierigkeiten hatten wir aber einen wirklich sehr schönen Aufenthalt, das Personal war sehr freundlich, abends auf der Terrasse ein fantastischer Blick über die erleuchtete Altstadt, Preis/Leistung im Restaurant angemessen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort einchecken.

Fab restaurant, hotel lacking
Beautiful place needs attention. Wonderful restaurant and staff throughout. Floor of bathroom was dirty (unidentified brown substance), mattress high in middle, low on ends and at headboard. Pool and other areas being jack-hammered with tile removal which made sitting outside at restaurant during day unpleasant. We were emailed that pool was undergoing maintenance the day or 2 before arrival—past deadline to cancel and book with another hotel. Bathroom and rest of room so dark I had to use flashlight to put on make-up! I would recommend restaurant completely, but not a stay in the hotel.

One of the best Riads we stayed at in all of Morocco. It is just outside the medina so car can go to the property unlike a lot of others where you need to walk in the medina from car park to the hotel. Beautiful property, had a great view of the medina, spacious and clean rooms (not common for Riads in medina), excellent service and staff, even had a gym, good restaurant with live music that we loved. Breakfast had plenty of options with a fresh omelette station as well. Overall amazing Riad!

Au Palais Faraj nous avons essayer d'avoir plus d'ouverture mais hélas ce n'est pas possible de le faire sur toutes. Bien Cordialement

From the smell when you entered from the main door to the room, everything during our stay ( 4 days) was perfect. The hotel is curated with taste, decor with many details, and crafts. The service was impeccable. All this said, our stay would only have been this flawless with Kareem at the front desk and Badreddine ( breakfast restaurant). They went above and beyond to facilitate our first visit to Morroco. In addition, the cleaning service every day was impressive. After an exhausting day, the spa is a must, followed by the rooftop bar or the restaurant, both excellent (favorite: creme brulée). Many thanks and I can't wait to come back. The only thing I would change is to have an iron station in the room, as it took some time and several calls to get it;

Luxurious stay at Palais Faraj!
Luxurious stay at the Palais Faraj hotel in Fes. It makes you feel like you’re in a grand palace with so many different spots to hang out and just admire the detailed decor. Gorgeous panoramic views of the Medina and afar from outside common areas. Staff was extremely accommodating, booked us reservations for dinner, gave good suggestions. We also had the F’Tour dinner buffet up on the terrace which was fantastic with plenty of veg and non-veg options. Thank you to the restaurant manager Khadijah for being so helpful and kind while we were up there. We were able to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout our stay even though it was Ramadan. Just an FYI in terms of drinks, they had no alcohol during this time. In city of Fes you might find a couple scattered riads that will serve foreigners, but don’t count on it. The location of the hotel is also ideal, many taxis always passing by and you can get to the medina within minutes by car. Also just a tip you can also utilize the hotel shuttle van by calling the hotel, for example after we finished dinner at Palais Armani one night, it was pretty late and hard to find a taxi, and the locals grab them up pretty quick, so I just called the hotel and the shuttle came within minutes, super convenient and safe. Lastly shout out the to spa staff, my wife and I did the Palais Du Ritual which includes a hammam experience with steam room, full body scrub/rinse with black soap, full body massage, relaxation time, etc!

Outstanding luxurious hotel. Impeccable service. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite. Shower area should be made safer with grab bars. Spa too expensive otherwise we would have used it. Location ideal. Khadija at the breakfast restaurant was very helpful and nice.

Magical Hotel
Hotel location, facilities and staff are simply amazing. The hotel itself is so beautiful with numerous gardens and fountains. You feel like you are indeed in a royal palace. The staff is also 5 stars. We ate at L'Amandier restaurant and the food and service was just excellent. My husband had the unfortunate event of getting a kidney stone during out stay. He got terrible pain very late into the night. The staff quickly reached our to their resident doctor who saw my husband in our room within 20 minutes of our call. A staff member extended his shift to help us translate and even arranged with the doctor to have the medicines delivered to the hotel. They even treated us as family by loaning us cash as we didn't have enough Dirhams in hand to make the payments. They really treated us like family.

Everything was perfect. One of the best places I have ever stayed. The Riad was magnificent, each room on the main level was unique and beautifully handcrafted. The breakfasts were delicious and generous. The staff made sure everything was just right. The room was spotless and incredibly doctors and comfortable. I LOVED every second at the Riad.

Property is lovely, both public areas and rooms. Restaurant is good, both for breakfast and dinner . Location is good. We had one poor experience where hotel recommended a restaurant in Médina and told us it would be easy to get there either by their driver or taxi. After we waited 45 minutes they told us we needed to hire a car for $30. Restaurant was very mediocre, near empty and expensive. I felt we had been set up to give business to a place that needed it. When I told hotel manager, he was quite indifferent. Reflected badly on hotel and their service ethic.

Concerning your dinner experience outside, I would like to make clear that we sincerely recommended you a place, we made so far best experiences with this place and guest's feed-backs were excellent. We do not appreciate your insinuations at all. Concerning the taxi experience : firstly, you refused the private transportation, suitable for 4 persons (yes, 300 dh return), though we mentionned to you that public taxis only accept max 3 passengers and it would be hard to get 2 in same time, accepting to do the same way. We tried to explain this to you. After waiting; you finally accepted the private transportation.

Endroit de rêve
Hôtel splendide avec une belle piscine très agréable quand les températures sont élevées. Service soigné. Tres bon restaurant avec vue imprenable. Le spa est beau mais les soins que j’ai reçus n'étaient vraiment pas inoubliables. L’excursion que j’ai réservée à travers l’hôtel était d’une qualité très moyenne donc il est préférable de réserver ailleurs.

Depuis votre séjour, nous avons mis en place une formation continue du personnel de notre spa et nous sommes en train de rechercher du personnel qualifié supplémentaire. Concernant les excursions, j'invite tous les clients de préciser leur priorités à la réservation et nous donner leur feed back. Pour mieux 'gérer' la satisfaction de nos clients, d'anticiper leurs attentes, nous avons crée un nouveau poste de 'guest relation. J'espère que ces informations illustrent notre sincérité - car toute critique nous est importante!
