"We were staying in Gijón due to a wonderful road-trip through the North of Spain. The hotel is conveniently located, close to the beautiful promenade of the town and easy to access to, as you are arriving by car. Directly next to the hotel entrance you will find their underground car-park, which we liked very much due to reasons of security, since our car was rather packed with luggage. The rooms are modern and spacious, bathrooms are top notch as well. Most important to us was the pet-friendlyness, which is not common in Spain. This hotel even provides you with a bed for your dog, which obviously was very comfy, as our dog slept in it without waking me up during the night. Breakfast is high-class, providing you with a large variety of fruit, bread, cold cuts and eggs in all varieties. The staff is just wonderful, going forth and back to make your stay a wonderful one. No matter, whether Checking in or out or enjoying breakfast, everyone is working hard on making your stay a perfect one. During our stay, one of the front-lights of our car broke down. The receptionist, who does not own a car, asked her colleagues who were off duty, to provide us with the address of a good car-mechanic. The recommended one did a wonderful job and we were more than greatful for the information. Due to all this, we changed our original plans and chose this wonderful hotel again on our way back home. We'll definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you so much for everything!"

"die lage des hotels ist einzigartig. man muss damit rechnen ab 7 bis 22 klingen die glocke regelmässig, aber schön. unbedingt die fenster in das tal ( berge) also nordöstlich oder südöstlich,nicht nordwestlich hinauf zu der kirche, hinterer teil des hotels. dort läuft das klimaanlage und ist sehr laut. es ist zwar grandhotel aber die beste zeiten sind vorbei, also keine hemungen. das abendessen beginnt erst 20,30 und ist sehr üppig, besser ala karte essen. wenn die tagesturisten nach hause fahren ist die anlage schön ruhig. zu den seen kann mann nur mit dem sammeltaxi (12 euro hin und retour) oder mit dem öffentlichen bus ( a 30 minuten) 9 euro hin und retour fahren. von der oberer bus station kann man für 1 euro zu dem höheren see fahren oder 45 minuten zu fuss gehen."

"The hotel is very spacious. It has a very mordern futuristic design from the outside. The underground parking lot is huge. The maintenance needs to be improved. The weight lift machine in the fitness room was broken already several years ago, and it is still not fixed. Both treadmills are in working condition but have broken buttons. "
