Solides Hotel, ohne klassische Rezeption. Frühstück mager, typisch für LOw Budget USA Hotels. Zimmer gut, sauber, gutes Fernsehprogramm, echte Dusche und gut ausgestattetes Bad. Passt.

Zu teuer für das Angebot
Eher ein Motel als ein Hotel. Die Einrichtung ist neu und ansprechend, wenn auch spartanisch. Sie Sauberkeit ist angemessen und die tägliche Reinigung vertretbar gründlich. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel erreichen dieses Hotel nicht und fußläufig sind keine interessanten Orte zu erreichen, daher ist dieses Hotel ausschließlich Autoreisenden zu empfehlen. Für Autoreisende aber ist ein Großteil des Staates Connectucut gut erreichbar. Abzuraten ist von diesem Hotel vor allem wegen der Lautstärke, einerseits wegen der nahen Autobahn, andererseits wegen der außerordentlich lauten Hausklimaanlage. Dass in drei Tagen dreimal grundlos der Feueralarm ausgelöst wurde half wenig (Positiv: Die Feuerwehr rückte jedesmal sehr zeitnah an). Das Restaurant Barcelona (im selben Gebäude) ist zu empfehlen.

The low-staff and online check-in/out takes some getting used to, but the main negative here is the noise. The air management fan is so loud that it either kept me awake all night or woke me up if I set it to come on at the temp threshhold. Another annoyance was the malfunctioning volume on the TV. That said, the one staf I saw was welcomi g and helpful, the room was clean and safe, and the location is outstanding. Overall grade. B

The hotel rooms were renovated and clean. My only complaint are the super sensitive smoke detectors. There is no fan in the bathrooms, but there is a vent. However there are signs in the bathroom that say to keep the door closed during showering and immediately after as the steam may set off the smoke alarm. The fire alarms which are very loud went off at 6:30am as that happened on another room in the hotel. It was clear that the fire dept must come there often for this reason as they seem irritated and it took them a while to get there. There has to be a better system. Otherwise, our stay was great and the room was great, especially for the price. It was convenient to Route 15 and there are a lot of restaurants available in the area. We enjoyed a cocktail at Barcelona which is in the front of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel, just make sure you keep the bathroom door closed all the time!

This is a really cool idea. But seeing people in the parking lot confused about checking in was our first bad sign. Once we got in, we were impressed with the concept and found the unmanned hotel idea to be cute. Then the fire alarm went off. Just after 6am. It took 30 minutes to turn off. If there was staff here, we wouldn’t have had to call 911 ourselves. Cool idea, really, really inconvenient. Don’t stay here if…. You have important business to handle in the morning You require plush accommodations (it is stylish and fun) You’re trying to check in quickly DO: If you like cute and quirky If you like low rates If you’re into tech You don’t mind a bare bones, stylish hotel

I love the location and how clean the rooms are. I also love the self-check in option. I feel safe and comfortable every stay. My only feedback is that it would be even better stay/convenience to have fridge and microwave option for future travelers who have extended stays. Also, the room numbers should be more visible in addition to the direction signs. It's uncomfortable as woman traveler to have to wander around the property vulnerable, especially at night looking for room numbers.

Almost had to live here over 30 years ago when in college and dorms weren’t ready . It was horrifying : shag rug , more hourly stays it seemed . This time , when picking up my daughter at college she said to stay here and that it was done over . I laughed and looked at it , and said “sure “ for old times sake . Well, very impressed ! It has come a long way . Thank you!

We expected more comfort and higher quality. All things considered, our experience at the Hi-Ho was closer to a Motel than the “luxury” in their advertising. The front desk staff (remote) was very friendly and helpful when we called to request a different room. Despite that, the contactless service still feels a bit alienating. Parking was extremely limited due to the restaurant on the same premises.

The these is practically no parking reserved for the hotel guests. There is a very busy restaurant in the same facility and they have valet parking. The valets reserve spaces by using cones and if you leave the hotel after 5 PM, it is almost impossible to get parking without waiting for someone to leave!

It’s location right above the superb and jumping Spanish restaurant, Barcelona. Also the rooms are larger and more comfortable than before the renovation and there is quick access to the Merritt Parkway and many stores on the Black Rock Turnpike.

$120 plus for one night and another $50 pre check in b.s. too expensive for the room in general. Due to circumstances i had to stay 3 nights came up to around $400 for a mediocre room No mini fridge or microwave only one lamp works housekeeping tries to come in the rooms early. Won't ever get anymore of my money!!
