What a pleasure to meet Roger and his family from England. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very pleasant but it didn't seem to keep them from enjoying their break in Ireland. They left early in the morning and the house was clean and tidy, bins emptied and bin bags replaced - what a treat for me! I hope they will return sometime and enjoy good weather. Margaret

It was a pleasure to welcome Chris, her husband and Norwegian friends to Lisbellaw. They certainly were very appreciative and left the house in perfect condition. They even kept the tomatoes and cucumbers alive in the greenhouse with daily watering during very hot weather. Hopefully they will return in the future. Margaret

Wonderful to meet Francois and Sandra, the first French couple to stay in Kinard. They very kindly watered the tomatoes and cucumbers in the greenhouse and didn't forget the pots of herbs outside. I think these are bound to be the best crop ever! Thank you. Margaret

Great to hear these guests from sunny Australia were warm enough in Kinard Cottage during some of our more wintery weather. They were here to try and locate a Grandfather's birth place. They even left with a hand-made brick from his cottage! How good is that?

It was great having another Scottish family staying in Fermanagh. They were marooned for an extra night because of storm Ophelia which hit Ireland but they looked after the property for me to make sure there was no damage done. Thankyou again.

What a wonderful family from Scotland. I am so pleased they enjoyed their stay in Fermanagh. They were so understanding when there were a couple of 'blips' at the beginning of their stay but all was sorted out. Will look forward to meeting again.

Sometimes in life when you entertain strangers, you entertain angels unawares. Well that was the case with John and Pamela. Who ever heard of self-catering guests washing and ironing the bed linen or weeding the garden? It really did happen, I didn't have anything to do when they left - only make more pancakes!
