Wir kamen um 15.15 Uhr an. Unser Zimmer war nicht fertig. Man eroeffnete mir das ich fruehestens in einer Stunde ins Zimmer kann (Check in time 15 Uhr). Nach 20 Minuten an der Rezeption (Empfangsdame sehr unfreundlich) bekam ich endlich ein Zimmer. Statt Kingsize Bed 2 Queen Betten. Keine Entschuldigung. Die Damen an der Rezeption tuschelten ueber die Gaeste (auch ueber mich waehrend ich dabei war). In allen Gaengen stand bis nach 22 Uhr noch die Reste des Fruehstuecks. Sehr unappetitlich

Direkt in der Innenstadt
Fussläufig zur City, was auch immer das in El Paso heißen mag.... Walgreens direkt in der Nähe, ca. 2 Blocks. Hotel absolut top, in jeder Hinsicht. Tolle Dachterasse mit Pool und Aussicht auf Juarez. Wer unbedingt mal rüber will zur Drogenhauptstadt Mexikos, 20 Minuten Fussweg.

The double tree never disappoints! This one is in downtown and near some really nice and high restaurants couple of bars too. The beds are always the best and check out is at noon love that! They a restaurant Casanova really good food didn’t expect that and there bartender was a blast to start of a night of fun.

Took a long time to check in. One person working the desk on a Friday night. On arrival I was charged an addition fee of $100 and was told it was for INCIDENTALS! My room was behind the elevators, very noisy. One elevator was down the entire visit. A second elevator went down Saturday night. A guest was stuck in it for a while. Only one elevator cost me 2 hours of my evening. Overall a very poor experience.

Mi peor experiencia en un hotel fue cuando tuve que esperar más de una hora para hacer el check-in, me dieron la llave de una habitación cuando había reservado dos, la puerta del baño se atascó y luego otras personas entraron a la habitación porque les habían vendido la misma. Un guardia de seguridad tuvo que confirmar nuestros datos varias veces y a altas horas de la madrugada nos pidieron bajar a recepción para solucionar el error. Al final, me ofrecieron disculpas una vez que decidí retirarme del hotel. No hubo mantenimiento disponible para arreglar la puerta del baño. No volveré a hospedarme en este hotel a menos que haya una disculpa sincera y un reembolso. No pude descansar ni relajarme como esperaba. Esta experiencia debería considerarse al elegir un hotel.

The property was very run down with a lot of water leaks and staining. Our room was okay but there was stains on the couch and the bathroom needs to be updated. Not the best hotel.

Good (Great) Enough!
Adequate. But more insulation or something needs to be built into the walls for rooms that are adjacent to the elevator shaft. Unfortunately, those rooms reminded me of being above a subway station. Had a job interview and had to make sure I got a good night’s rest, and that wasn’t going to happen with elevator weights and pulleys running 24/7 a few feet away from me. Fortunately, the staff was more than accommodating in setting me up in a different room! That room needs a new lock and sometimes wouldn’t work because the keycard could slip into places it shouldn’t, but the staff was made aware of and helped with that too! Even housekeeping went out of their way to solve problems! Thank you!

Nice but chilly
Nice hotel. Convenient to downtown. When we checked in the young lady was by herself and it was busy…overall staff were wonderful but the heat in our room did not work. It was an icebox and no extra blankets.

Location was convenient, right off the freeway . We checked in at 10 pm and told front desk that our heater wasn’t working in our room. We were still waiting at 11:15 pm for someone to fix it. Maintenance guy came and looked at it and said he was going to get his tools and we didn’t hear anything else from him. We finally went back downstairs because the phone wasn’t working in our room and they gave us a new room.

Double Tree is a nice hotel set up and amenities. It’s however a little dated and the linens didn’t smell clean. The shower was was also wonky. It sprayed everywhere we had to face it towards the wall of the shower to keep it from spraying and leaking everywhere.

Lovely stay poor restaurant.
Our stay at DoubleTree was excellent in all ways. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. We’d like to especially thank Juan the Assistant General Manager. A very wonderful man. However, dining at the restaurant was a sad experience. We do not recommend having dinner there. We ordered the chicken parmigiana with ravioli. The ravioli was a dismal, hard, disc as was the chicken. The lobster bisque was good and we should have stopped there. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The menu was limited as was the wine selection. It was a huge disappointment considering the price.
