"The resort feels welcoming with its nice grounds and tidy outdoor spaces. The rooms show their age a bit (we were here 3 years ago too), but they’re still comfortable and clean, and the whole resort feels well cared-for.
Food is a definite highlight. The buffet is always good, and the a la carte options are consistently tasty. There’s a huge variety, so there’s something for everyone. The service in the restaurants was generally very good and attentive.
A special shout-out to Juan Gavilan (in the restaurant/gastro team), who made our stay feel extra special. He truly cares about guests and helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Juan is a real asset to the team.
The Platinum beach area is well maintained and pleasant for a full day by the sea. There are some signs of aging on the sunbeds, but they’re still comfortable. One improvement worth noting is the ongoing seaweed issue, which the hotel is tackling with newer, more modern machines that regularly clean the beach and keep water access easy and safe.
Good news on the gym too - the upgrade is noticeable, with new equipment. The staff in the fitness area were friendly and shared useful tips.
Overall, the hotel delivers a solid, enjoyable stay and makes a strong choice for a relaxing vacation."
