I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past 20 years. I kept coming back as the location and amenities were good.
This stay was disappointing.
Check in was poor, our room was not ready when we entered it, one bed not made, no towels, etc.
required a return to the desk and room change. Others were being told that despite it being 4:30 their rooms weren’t ready. Appears cutbacks in housekeeping are taking a toll.
Room had no bathrobes, only 2 towels for a double queen room. Carpets in the hallway were dirty, with visible lint, garbage, dirt. Housekeeping only replaced our towels and coffee, beds were not remade, sinks weren’t cleaned.
Sound proofing was minimal. We could clearly hear the baby above crying, the tv in the next room, and got woken by the dog across the hall barking/scratching NON STOP for 20 minutes at 7:30am. Thankfully the owners did return when the hotel called them after we called the front desk.
We were offered a free upgrade for our next stay but honestly that doesn’t make up for a poor showing this time. I expect more from the Hilton brand name.
