Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut- man kann die Innenstadt ganz einfach zu Fuß erreichen und hat viele Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und ist auch direkt beim Stop "Haymarket" von wo aus man den Bus zum Flughafen nehmen kann. Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht allzu sauber, aber es ist okay. Das Personal ist überwiegend nett, jedoch hatten wir auch 2 etwas unangenehme Situationen. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Im Großen und Ganzen hat alles gepasst, die Lage ist sehr gut und für ein City Hotel hat man alles was man braucht.

Super Hotel, um Edinburgh zu Fuß zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind groß genug, schön eingerichtet und das Frühstücksbuffet war toll! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren über Silvester in Edinburgh Sehr gute Lage am Haymarket sowie Anbindung an Bus & Tram. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und zweckmäßig Sehr freundliches Personal am Check-in und ein Extralob an die Crew der Bar (besonders Tommy -you are the Man) super Service und aufmerksam. Frühstücksbüffet reichlich, zu manchen Zeiten musste man etwas warten bis einige Speisen nachgefüllt wurden, aber in Summe ok. Kleiner Makel war, dass trotz mehrfachen Nachfragens der Safe nicht repariert wurde und es auch an 2 Tagen kein Housekeeping gab. Zusammengefasst eine tolle Zeit und werden wieder dort übernachten

A nice Hotel with the Tram Stop only a couple of minutes away on foot. Unfortunately the restraurant was serving "Sorry don’t have that tonight" twice in a row, which was a shame. The room was nice and comfy but the bathroom could use a facelift and some fine tuning. The staff was very nice.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Leonardo Royal Edinburgh Haymarket. Good located, very helpful service. Nevertheless the time of cleaning up the room at 4 o'clock pm was too late. We had to cancel it twice unfortunately. But the hotel is really comfortable.

Unterkunft war ok, zimmer etwas klein und Fenster konnte man nur leicht öffnen. Unter dem Fenster war eine laute stinkende Klimamaschine. Top Frühstück top Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Gegenüber vom Hotel ist eime Baustelle. In die Innenstadt ca 10 min mit dem taxi oder 20 min zu fuss.

Zimmer und Betten waren super, sauber und komfortabel. Auch personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Aber die Dusche im Badezimmer jedoch eine Katastrophe. Kaum Wasserdruck auf der Leitung, es kam kaum Wasser aus der Brause. Duschen war eher eine Zumutung. Auch die Wannenrand-Dichtung hat kaum funktioniert, es stand immer Wasser auf dem Boden. Ich weiß nicht, ob das nur in meinem Zimmer war, aber sehr störend auf jeden Fall.

Super Lage, zweckmässige Zimmer, Housekeeping muss täglich angemeldet werden, hatten 4 Tage ein Zustellbett welches wir nicht benötigt haben im Zimmer - sie haben es nicht geschafft zu entfernen, auch bei Flecken auf dem Bettzeug wird dieses nicht getauscht - dafür unnötigerweise immer frische Handtücher welche nicht benötigt wurden, hatten dann zum Ende des Aufenthaltes mehrer saubere Garnituren Ersatzhandtücher. Rezeption sehr Freundlich, Kofferabstellraum vorhanden, kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz ebenfalls vorhanden.

Great location, however the hotel (especially rooms) aren‘t clean. You need to request cleaning service if you‘d like. However all they do is bring you fresh towels. Loads of dust in the room and in general not tidy. On top, the hotel staff is not very friendly. Nevertheless, the hotel‘s location is brilliant as in walking distance to city centre and very close to Haymarket station.

Die Location war toll, insbesondere für Kongresse am EICC, auch die Altstadt /das Zentrum ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Dass das Hotelzimmer nur auf Anfrage an der Reception gereinigt wird, sollte man den Hotelgästen bei der Ankunft sagen, fand ich persönlich ziemlich daneben.

Positiv: Frühstück war super. Zimmer sind schön und modern eingerichtet, Betten waren auch bequem. Sehr zentral zum Haymarket, zu Fuß in 15 Minuten an der Royal Mile. Negativ: Die neue Politik der Hotelkette bietet KEIN Housekeeping, wer sein Zimmer gereinigt haben will, muss dies an der Rezeption jeden Tag anmerken.

Buchen wir kein zweites Mal
Flecken in der Dusche, Thermostat nicht selbst einstellbar, wurde vom Empfang gesteuert und mal auf 20, mal auf 30 °C gestellt. Schlecht abgedichtete Fenster, Geräusche von Flur sehr laut. Essen im Hotelrestaurant war sehr enttäuschend. £14 für einen Gourmethotdog, der aus einer mehligen Wurst, trockenem Brot und etwas Ketchup und Senf bestand.

Property was clean and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable although pillows were not (in my opinion, I realize this is subjective). Water pressure was good and hot in the shower but it was not easy getting in and out of the tub the way it was positioned in the room. The main negative for us was that it wasn't really in close walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. When we got back from touring each day and were too exhausted to go very far, we ended up eating 3 nights in the hotel because it was the line of least resistance. The restaurant was nice and reasonably priced, however. Overall a great find and the most reasonably priced for that immediate area.

We had to wait around 10mins for someone to come to reception to check in even although we had checked in online we still needed to collect the key. Room was lovely and clean but a bit dated. The shower only trickled. All In a lovely stay and did the job for a night. Beds were nice and comfy

Nice property within walking distance of some great attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff, both at the front desk and restaurant. Great dinner and breakfast!
