There were issues on the island with power going out due to a fallen tree in the forest, but the owners were very responsive to texts and even drove out to give us lanterns in case there was another outage. I highly recommend staying here!“

„This Cottage is elaborated and well equipped in a beautiful surrounding. We had a great stay and with the privateness we felt much more comfortable than in a big resort. With the position in Haiku you could reach everything within a short drive. Beautiful beaches are nearby... close to Paia. We also loved to look at the turtles at the Hookipa Bay. „We had been stranded in a rather run down place near by during our honeymoon. Gail answered within 10 min that they were getting the house ready and we could come over within 1 hour. What a change, when we came an hour later we entered a lovely and very clean house, just like in the pictures and Hawaiian Sea Breeze Radio was playing. The location is a good base to explore Maui. „The Jungalow was an amazing spot to begin our Hawaiian vacation. It was the perfect spot to explore upcountry and East Maui. We loved being only an hour drive to sunrise and a good spot to begin Road to Hana as well. So much adventure to explore around here. We enjoyed dinner at Mama’s one night (what a treat), but loved coming back to the Jungalo to rest our tired legs the other nights. A good soak in the hot tub is the perfect end to day whether watching the sunset or the stars twinkle. Loved ...
