Gute Lage direkt an der Mall of the Emirates. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer sind etwas klein, besonders im Bad geht es sehr eng zu. Aber insgesamt würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.

Good, simple and cheap place in Dubai
The Ibis Hotel is in walking distance to the Dubai Mall and between two metro stations. It is a good and simple place to stay especially when you plan to be in hotel only for sleeping. The rooms are limited to the minimum. The breakfast is great but expensive.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in super Lage
Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der Metro und der Mall of the Emirates - sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen in Dubai. Das Hotel ist komfortabel, beim Frühstück gibt es eine sehr reichhaltige Auswahl. Im Badezimmer bemerkt man kleine Unsauberheiten in den Ecken, das hat mich aber kaum gestört. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Zu beachten: Im Zimmer gibt es keinen Safe, dafür aber einen separat zugänglichen Raum mit Schließfächern neben der Lobby.

Kein Nichtraucher-Zimmer erhalten
Wir haben über expedia ein Nichtraucher-Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten gebucht. Im Hotel wurde uns zunächst ein muffiges Raucherzimmer angeboten. Offensichtlich hatte das Hotel das gebuchte Zimmer nicht mehr verfügbar. Nach 2-maliger Beschwerde organisierte der Herr an der Rezeption uns schließlich ein größeres Zimmer im nebenan liegenden Suite Novotel. Daher können wir über das Hotel nicht weiter urteilen, das Personal in der Rezeption machte für uns keinen besonders zuvorkommenden Eindruck. Falls unsere Buchung wie gewünscht geklappt hätte, würde ich das Hotel für einen Kurztrip wegen dem günstigen Preis und der guten Lage durchaus weiter empfohlen. Die Metro-Station ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Metro (rote Linie) fährt zum Flughafen, aufgrund der großen Entfernung und besonders mit Gepäck ist aber ein Taxi zu empfehlen.

Disappointment
A new youth hostel is on the same level but costs much less. You pay a lot extra for the neighborhood: Mall of the Emirates. Internet: They offer "high speed Internet" as WIFI in the lobby. Download rate is 0,35 Mbit/sec. Upload rate is 0,20 Mbit/sec. This is stone age!! In the room, via cable, for 25 AHT/h (approx. EUR 5/h) is the same speed.

The rooms were more than adequate and clean. Hot shower, coffee pot, fridge, and safe for your belongings. Restaurant on site was good and very reasonable. Walk to the Mall of the Emirates with Ski Dubai. The only negative would be no gym & pool at the hotel but you can use the adjoining hotels facilities.

I was in queue to check in and check out- not enough staff to attend to customers. Saw 2 security guards but only 1 staff on duty at the desk. Asked for sleepers after checked in and was not in the room when we went back in the afternoon. Had to call for it. Electric kettle not working, only tea, no coffee. Mentioned to the front desk upon check out. Not a good stay.

Not what i booked
I enjoyed my stay shame i was given one double bed room when i booked weeks in advance for two single bed rooms my mum is unwell and had to endure sharing a room with my sister the manager refused to fix this issue the location is the only good thing really not too far from downtown

Tivemos problema com a reserva e mesmo assim o hotel super nos ajudou, o quarto era ok, o tamanho de quarto padrao ibis, levemente apertado, banheiro tambem levemente apertado, mas tudo muito bom. Cafe da manha era muito bom, com ilha oriental e ilha internacional, muito bom. Localizacao boa, mercado ao lado 24h e varios restaurantes perto.
