Einfaches Stadthotel in lauter Umgebung
Einfaches Hotel an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Die Umgebung ist sehr laut, insbesondere nachts. Das Frühstück ist sehr schlecht, es gibt einer sehr kleine Auswahl und die Qualität ist überschaubar. Leider gibt es in der Umgebung auch keine anderen Möglichkeiten. Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Fernseher ist vorhanden, ein Kühlschrank nicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Insgesamt für den Preis in Ordnung

If this was Standard room, I shudder to think what a sub-Standard room is like. Here are the issues I had with this place: Shower height in the room is shoulder height. You have to bend down to wash your hair and I'm only 5'9" tall. Water flask is in the room, but no water. You have to go outside the room to the water cooler near the elevator, fill up and go back in. Pity help you if you forget your key in the power receptacle. There was no shampoo or soap in the room and I had to call down for them to be delivered. That took about 10 minutes, and arrived when I was calling again to follow up my request. There was no notepaper in the room, no pen, no TV guide, and no restaurant/room service menu. The TV remote did not work, and the guy who came to the room didn't seem to understand what was failing to work properly. Eventually he supplied a separate remote for the tuner box with fresh batteries. There is 1 key for the door which is also used to enable the complete electrical power to the room. As a result, there is no power at all to charge phone & computer or run the aircon when you leave. I returned 3 hours later to an dead phone and a 33° room. Aircon made a whining or singing noise all night after running for about half an hour. I turned it of to let it cool down (or whatever the issue was), restarted and the noise came back on again after a while. Result was very poor sleep, broken, and no deep sleep. No cupboard to hang clothes up.

Not so good stay.
Noisy Had to ask fir towels Room cleaned once in our four night stay Furniture tired Toilet seat loose Over head Shower not working correctly but the other shower head was good as was the water temperature. Maid service fantastic. Thou we never had breakfast, only take out coffee, the staff were great.

Review of Go Hotels in Lanang
The good points is that the hotel grounds is big and spacious, big hallway and wide staircase. There is separate toilet and shower. The not so good point is the elevator is too small, there is no space for table or work space in the room so you have to do your work from the bed. Also, the wifi in go hotels davao is not so secure and open to hacking so need to be careful. If you are staying for only a few days, it should be fine.

My go to place in Davao
Clean and comfortable. Nice room. The in hotel restaurant was a bit overpriced and the food wasn't great. Fortunately there were a couple of other restaurants just outside the hotel that were better. SM mall is less than a mile away too. For the price Go Hotel is a great place to stay. I stayed 12 nights.
