The hotel is clean and fine, but it definitely did not live up to the pictures in its website. It clean and acceptable, but nothing what we were expecting. It was off season, only one restaurant in town was open, amd the receptionist was less then helpful.

Our cabin was roomy and beautifully decorated. We felt instantly at home sitting on the sofa or in the outdoor chairs. It is very convenient to Badlands National Park (pull out of the parkjng lot and drive a few miles) and to dining and shopping. It even has a ceiling fan, which we miss from home. Of the ten places we stayed on our journey, this ranks #1. It's the nicest place in town!

Great Room but Breakfast was Light
Our cabin had gravel and steps up to it, the steps were fairly high so it wasn't easy getting luggage into the cabin. The cabin was great and a nice view. The beds were very comfortable. I was disappointed in the grab and go breakfast. Not a lot to choose from and I believe breakfast began at 8 and we were there by 8:10 am or so. So you may have to go across the street for breakfast at the Common Cents gas station.

Just okay for an overnight stay. Rooms were dark and furniture, carpet and bedding looked old and worn. Only one mirror in the room (in the bathroom). Beds were marginally comfortable. Location is good and it was fairly quiet at night.

Great cabin space
This is 2 of 2 rooms rented here during this stay. This unit had an amazing outdoor feel as it is nestled upto a tree-lined field, woke up each morning to see a baby doe grazing just off private porch. This unit had working mini fridge, microwave, andTV. Did find a prior guest left a bag of chips in cabinets. This unit did have a broken/rotted hand rail to exterior staircase. Internet was slow and spotty, however i was not here for the internet or TV. I would definitely stay here again. Great location to all major national parks, taking the scenic route to sturgis give 1 hour of twists to ride.

We were presently surprised. Our room was clean and cute. There is a tiny kitchenette ,which was great for making snacks and coffee. We didn't eat breakfast , so I can't help you there. Definitely would stay here again

terrible
we stayed at a room not cabin. the room was clean but smelled really bad...#107 went to dollar store to buy febreze to spray....we used a whole bottle still had some smell. AC was noisy ,we needed to turn off. I won't stay there again

The hotel was horrible. It didn't hold up to the pics at all. I think they are all of the cabins, NOT the hotel which was in disrepair and not clean. The freezer didn't work, the water was awful and we had to get bottled water, we had to ask for a coffee maker and the coffee they provided was like brown water. It was a super small room. There was a kitchenette but with no supplies so completely useless. The "patio" was the sidewalk between the room and the parking lot. The pic looks like it's a little secluded, but it's right at the intersection of 2 busy highways. I've never written a review on Expedia before, but just had to on this one. There are some cute places in Custer, so we felt duped and disappointed to have ended up here for 2 nights.
