Nachdem ich gegen 13:30h mein Gepäck im Hotel gelagert hatte und mir gesagt wurde, das Zimmer sei noch nicht bereit, aber alles sei in Ordnung konnte ich gegen 19:30h als ich zurück uns Hotel kam nicht einchecken, weil ich keine physische Kreditkarte dabei hatte nur apple pay oder debit. Zudem war einer der Mitarbeiterinnen sehr unfreundlich, ihre Kollegin hat zwar versucht die Situation zu retten, aber erfolglos. Viel Zeit verloren, war müde und wollte einfach in mein Zimmer. Schlussendlich habe ich ein anderes Hotel gebucht im gleichen Preissegment und hat keinerlei Probleme beim buchen oder Check-In, auch beim Hotel zuvor lief alles reibungslos. Das Personal hat sich nicht sehr kooperativ gezeigt und ich kann nicht versenden, dass ein Hotel dieser Kategorie im 2023 keine digitale Kreditkarte akzeptiert. Das ist inakzeptable.

Top war Lage, Design, Ausstattung (Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer, Fitnessstudio). Nicht so gut war, dass "City view" nur auf die Seitenstraße geht. Für den ungehinderten Blick auf den Grand Park benötigt man die "Skyline". Hierfür wurden 100 Dollar pro Nacht Aufpreis angeboten.

I have stayed there several times now since my daughter is going to college nearby. It's an excellent property. Great service wonderful bistro with good food and very walkable for so much in the Grant Park south loop area. Also can walk to the aquarium and planetarium in 10 or 15 minutes Also ask for a room on Michigan Avenue for the best view but get a higher floor where it's much quieter so you don't hear as much traffic.

Front desk staff was polite and efficient, and the bellman was very helpful. Room was very quiet and clean with everything you’d need. Walking distance to pretty much anything, and I had a nice meal in the restaurant located near the lobby of the hotel.

A great hotel pretty convenient for us. Disappointing house keeping, we had 2 rooms on 2 different floors. In one room they refreshed the room every day, however in the other even when I had requested fresh towels from staff they didn’t provide them. Only when I expressed my disappointment at the front desk did they inform me I needed to request housekeeping at the front desk each morning if needed. Seems very strange!!! Otherwise good experience with all staff interactions

I liked the location, being in proximity to the museums and McCormick Center. The fitness center is also nice. The interactions with staff disappointing. - Upon checking in, one of the receptionists shared that if we weren't using the in-hotel meal discount that evening, guests could come down the next morning and get a new one for breakfast. We did that. A new receptionist told us we shouldn't do that. We felt blamed for simply doing what another staff member told us to do. - Another receptionist had one ear bud in while interacting with guests. I asked for a basic hygiene supply, and they weren't able to supply it. It seemed like they were a bit distracted. - The breakfast itself was disappointing. A $17 scramble was just eggs with salsa on top. I think I will try the Hilton across the street the next time we are here.

I really enjoyed this hotel! It was clean and the staff was exceptionally nice. The valet parking is expensive ($75) but parking is close to the hotel. There is in and out of parking at 777 S. State ($39) but you need the QR code from the hotel.
