Older hotel, great location
Rooms are very old, dark and worn. The shower looked like 1990, had cracks in the tile and was missing shower gel dispenser and the tile around the toilette looked like it was flooded for quite a while. But even on the high floor the water was hot and had a lot of pressure. We had a room towards a parking garage and the curtains were only decoration on the side. People could look in the window and the light was shining in all night. The lobby was always full and loud (parties in restaurant and bottom floor) and it seems to be a family hotel where everybody brought at least two kids. The breakfast was fantastic, and free dinner snacks and drinks are offered! The location is absolutely great, bus and subway stops just one block away. We were okay with the overall experience even though we expected more for the price.

Such a perfect location! Public Transportation so close, lots of walkable destinations, lots of nearby restaurant options. The breakfast and happy hour are wonderful. Staff is super friendly. We would stay here again for sure! Side note, not hotel related… bring earplugs for night, as with all hotels in this area, Chicago is just loud on the streets at night!

Happy hour was fantastic with some snacks and 2 drinks. Amazing hot breakfast with lots of options (made to order omelettes). Nice size rooms with extra space. Queen size mattresses would have been better than doubles. Hector (who stored our bags before we could check in) was very helpful who also ordered us taxis. Great location of the hotel.

Safe was locked upon arrival to room. Phone was not working. Went to front desk on first night to ask to fix these things. Still not fixed when checked out 7 days later. Towel hook on bathroom door coming un screwed and barely hanging on. Water pressure very weak. Elevators slow . Overall great location to train and dining

It was not good as there were bedbugs and my kidz got rash and bugs bites at neck and legs and night shift manager was so rude . The morning staff was nice .I spent so much money as I thought it’s a seven star hotel but it’s not worthful as compared to the price I spent .

The Hotel us very well in terms of location but service is poor. There were not bath towels in our room. We needed to go to the front desk to request towels. The second day housekeeping removed the towels and didnt leave fresh ones. We asked again for towels but they never brought them. We ended up using the face and hand towels. Also hotel was very crowded and some elevators were out of service.

This is now my go to property whenever I'm in Chicago. There are a couple of cons about the property such as it being outdated in terms of layout and the fact that certain areas of the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned ( microwave, back and bottom of toilet) but the pros absolutely made up for it. I highly suggest packing a cleaning kit just in general for traveling as I prefer to clean the room myself. There was a pull out bed in the living room space that was super convenient, a mini kitchen area that I absolutely loved, a pool, dining within the hotel, and the free breakfast plus happy hour was a hit. Parking was so convenient at the property as well and the staff never made me feel as if I was doing too much if I went out serveral times a day. I was going back and forth between the costs of Ubers/walking vs just driving myself. Sometimes Uber/ walking would be cheaper and sometimes driving myself would be cheaper. Just plan things accordingly. Check in/out was a breeze as well. Again, this is a 10/10 property for me.

Arrived around midnight to a room with broken AC & food leftover in the fridge from previous guests. The front desk was not very helpful or apologetic, & it took an hour for someone to come fix the AC & clean the room when we should've just been given a new room to begin with (hotel was not fully booked, as this room was given to us as a "free upgrade"). Spoke to someone on the way out, was promised a call to rectify the issues & never got one. For the price you pay, the service is terrible.

The tvs and the thermostat need to be updated asap. Elevators need to be update and fixed. There should be a kid friendly pool and an Adult pool! Room was very warm and muggy yet the thermostat said 65 and wouldnt go lower. Good location. But a BUNCH of kids. So take that into consideration. Rooms were clean

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this hotel with my family. Lots of breakfast options like omelette, Pan cakes, fresh melons to name a few. Daily free evening drinks and snacks were awesome. Pool was very clean and well maintained. Overall staff and hotel were beyond my expectations and would highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Chicago downtown. They upgraded my room to premium suite due to unavailability of the regular one that I booked.

The check in counter staff was very rude and not helpful. Over priced over night parking. Absolutely horrible. Breakfast eggs were nasty. No ventilation in the bathrooms which was bad. The hair dryer was broken and not usable. Everything else was lovely, the room, the beds, very aesthetically pleasing.
