It wasn't clean. We changed the room, but the 2nd room wasn't really clean either. In the hotel, all the doors were dirty, the floor was sticky, even in the breakfast area. At breakfast there was cake from the day before. I always ate the same cake for breakfast for 10 days in England, also in another Holiday Inn and the cake was partly from the day before. Unfortunately, the dishes were not clean either. You always had to look at breakfast to see what kind of cup or plate you were taking. The staff is the only positive thing about this hotel. They are very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, we will never book Holiday Inn again. We booked 3 hotels of this hotel chain on our trip and all of them were not good. The hotel in Rochester was unfortunately particularly dirty. Even if it's old, it can be clean. Especially because Holiday Inn is everywhere with Cleanliness advertises and in the end it was not clean at all.

Kaum die Sterne wert...
Das Hotel hat zwar einen Pool, aber dies täuscht auch nicht darüber hinweg, dass man im Badezimmer auf jede Menge Schimmel trifft. Noch dazu ist der Service nicht gerade super, wenn man nachts um 24 Uhr mit einem schlafenden(!) Kleinkind ankommt und eine Weltreise zum eigenen Hotelzimmer machen muss. Ausgebucht war das Hotel sicherlich nicht!

Schönes Hotel mit ansprechendem Schwimmbad
Ziimmer für längeren Aufenthalt sehr ruhig gelegen, Schwimmbad konnte jederzeit genutzt werden, guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in der Grafschaft Kent, mit Kindern sehr empfehlenswert

Sauberes, komfortabeles Hotel, aber viel Betrieb
Das Hotel und das Zimmer waren sauber und komfortabel, aber es ist ein grosses Hotel mit viel Betrieb, besonders Geschäftsleute. Es liegt verkehrsgünstig halbwegs zwischen Dover und London und als Zwischenübernachtung bei einem günstigen Preisangebot sehr empfehlenswert. Als Urlaubsquartier ist es jedoch m.E. nicht das Richtige.

The room was ok bathroom shower was awful no pressure at all so a shower took ages. The service in the restaurant was awful service took ages and food took ages. The reception staff however were lovely, polite and helpful. Also a positive the gluten free breakfast options was best I have seen at any hotel to date.

This morning at breakfast this one lady called Dee stood out. She went over and beyond... i couldnt help but watch her. She made sure everything was perfect, no exaggeration. She made sure the food was out and presented nicely for others she was cleaning!. Emptying the tables...... the whole dining area she kept perfect and clean and all by herself. I had to stop and praise her fantastic job. Great dining experience thanks too Dee. 🙏
