gutes Hotel in Strandnähe
Das war unser erster Urlaub, bei dem wir einen Swimmingpool für uns allein hatten. Es gibt 3 Pools und oft waren wie die einzigen Badegäste. Die Zimmer sind groß, das Personal st immer hilfsbereit. Die anderen Hotelgäste waren aus vielen Ländern, nur Russen waren keine da. Am Wochenende strömten Einheimische zum Beispiel aus Bangkok an die Strände und ins Hotels, auch viele Chinesen. Während der Woche war das Hotel ziemlich leer. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielseitig und damit nicht nur dem europäischen Geschmack angepasst. Es gibt Suppen, Nudeln und Reis, aber auch 3 Sorten Brot, kleine Brötchen und Croissants, 4 Sorten Marmelade, Müsli, und einige Sorten Cerealien. Etwas langweilig war die Käseauswahl.: Eine Sorte, ähnlich unserem Butterkäse, das war´s. Bei Wurst und Schinken war die Auswahl ein wenig besser. Salatdressigs konnte man mit Gurken, Tomaten, Oliven, Paprika und Zwiebel zu einem Salatteller zusammen stellen oder man nahm sich Obst: Ananas, Melone, Papaya, Banane und eine paar mir ncht bekannte Obstsorten waren täglich da. Am Strand gabe es brauchbare hoteleigene und kostenlose Liegestühle, die Handtücher durften mit an den Strand genommen werden, Etwas bessere Liegen konnten für 100 Baht, etwa 2,60 EUR für das Set bestehend aus 2 Sunbeds und einem Sonnenschirm zugebucht werden. Wer sich das zutraut, kann einen 125er Motorroller am Strand für 200 bis 300 Baht mieten, hoteleigene Fahrräder sind kostenlos.

Trotz eines Kurzaufenthaltes haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Im Frühstücksraum war es einmal sehr kalt, da die Klimaanlage zu stark eingestellt war. Das Personal hat sich sehr freundlich um alles gekümmert. Die Strandnähe ist optimal.

Lovely hotel
I have stayed at Tara Mantra many times as it is a lovely friendly and very comfortable hotel. I stayed a week with friends and we all felt relaxed and made to feel very welcome. My only criticism is that the cooked items in the buffet breakfast are mainly cold even early in the service.

ノースビーチの静かなホテル。東西に長い南向きで、宿泊したミニスイートは快適でした。プールは3F(25m位)、2F(25m位)、1F(楕円形)と並んでいて、それぞれ1.5mの深さがあり、小さな子供には向いていない。 近隣にはレストランが豊富にあり、ホテル併設のビーチサイドレストランがおすすめです。値段は近隣のレストランより1割高くらい。 同等のホテルと向かい合わせに建っていて、建物を挟んで食事、マッサージの店が並んでいます。ランドリーも1軒(80B/1kg)あります。 ノースビーチはgrabを呼んでも中々来ないので、ここをベースにアクティブに動くには向いてないです。 ホテルでのんびり過ごす大人に最適なホテルですね。 朝食は種類多く、オムレツ、タイヌードル(美味しくない)リクエストできます。 また来年泊まりに行きます！

One of the best hotels in the area
Nicely refurbished hotel with good size rooms and great balcony. Good choice at breakfast. Reception staff could be more friendly, but it certainly didnt spoil my 2 night stay here.

Friendlier hotels near by
Large bed in a comfortable room. Reception staff could be a little friendly as I did have some minor issues and each time, I felt they were unapproachable and they were not really friendly or intetested. Shame as is a nice hotel. Stayed in Char-am 1 week, only stayed here first 2 night's. Says it all really....

Good for holiday close to the beach
This is a good hotel our room a delux room overlooking a pool a/c was good tea and coffee in room bath tub and shower all good staff are attentive and all very good is only 50 mts from beach, breakfast was good eggs cooked fresh....I have not a bad word to say about this place was all good thank you to Tara manta cha am

A Comfortable, Well-Run Hotel Option
We enjoyed our stay. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. The room was a good size, clean and with nice amenities. WiFi was decent. The breakfast is well above the average you find at most hotel buffets. They have 3 swimming pools, 2 of them smaller pools on the 2nd & 3rd levels. The main pool and children's pool is on the ground level. It is much larger and nicer than any of the hotel's photos show. We were pleased. The hotel is across from the quieter north Cha-am beach area and is an easy walk to a good number of restaurants. We will be happy to book again at Tara Mantra.

Decent hotel in a nice location
The Tara Mantra is a nice hotel situated in a great area. 7-11 located nearby as well as great beach location with quieter setting for Cha Am. The property is dated a bit and the staff is not as warm as you would typically expect from a Thai hotel, still the hotel is good enough that I would be open to staying there again.
