It is very nice hitel but much overpriced. Stuff is very nice, room is very beautiful, but breakfast very ordinary . No lift . But main thing- the feeling wa that they wanted more and more money from you. Even slippers put into your room were @150?Euros, Body notation - only for sale. But prices were not attached - so you do nit know how much it will be charged. Very noisy outside- so many tourists passing under your window.

The IL CAPRI Hotel is a gem on the island of Capri. Although not inexpensive, it is actually a value in comparison with many other hotels on the island. The property is an easy walk (even with luggage) from the cable car that brings you up from the port. The rooms have very nice views and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large by European standards, The staff is the real gem. They are friendly, attentive and go beyond expectations (shout out to Michele). The included breakfasts were good and the service great. They had good suggestions for other restaurants for us and even looked them up on their own phones to give directions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and heartily recommend this hotel.

Fantastic, gorgeous, pink!
Il Capri Hotel was fantastic. The style is amazing and we felt like we were staying in a Wes Anderson movie. Perfect location, great view (the pool!!!), nice staff. Only annoyance was that every surface and hook in the bedroom is covered in products for sale. They really push the hotel merch. Definitely recommend this place and wish we had more time there.

Hotel nella media , buona posizione ma camere piccole e non sempre luminose e con vista. Noi ci aspettavamo una camera standard ma non aveva niente a che fare con la foto sul sito. The property says it is "5 Star" hotel; no way or at least not under the conventional rating system. The positives: 1. good location. 2. fantastic staff; front desk is about the best I have experienced in Europe! 3. nice breakfast and restaurant space. 4. excellent air conditioning system. 5. Good size bathroom with nice showers, although the quality of the tiling installation was mixed. 6. Nice hotel lounge and bar service. The negatives: 1. the bed is the worst I have ever slept on at any hotel in the world and it is supposedly one year old mattress. 2. The carpet in the bedroom is not carpet, but a material that hurt my feet to stand on, so I looked for complimentary slippers that most good hotels provide guests; however, this hotel did not offer them, but had them for sale at €150,00. 3. No mini bar. 4. Did not have an in room safe, but it was installed in my room after I complained about it. 5. I wanted to speak with the owner of the property, who was at the property, about the marketing description of the hotel, but he refused to meet with me. 6. My room was very noisy from people on the roof bar or transiting through the hallway, which was annoying as they walked past my room in the wee hours of the morning... 7. There is no in room television. I have never experienced any 2 star hotel that did not provide an in-room TV. 8. The closet and drawers are too small. I do NOT recommend; but I hope to meet the staff at other hotels in Capri in 2024.
