Sauber und gut möblierte Unterkunft ! Leider ist das Personal nicht sehr motiviert, auf ein bestelltes Getränk wartet man eine Ewigkeit und das Bezahlen war ebenfalls sehr Zeitraubend! Das Essen im Restaurant musste sofort bezahlt werden und konnte nicht über die Hotelrechnung bezahlt werden.

Super Hotel tolle Lokation u tolles Personal

Einfach nur super!!
Wir haben zwölf Übernachtungen gebucht und waren rundum zufrieden. Das angebotene Frühstück ist einfach nur super. Sehr viel Auswahl und definitiv für jeden etwas dabei. Wir hatten ein Standard Zimmer mit Ausblick auf die V&A Waterfront. Das Zimmer ist schlicht und funktionell eingerichtet. Aber dafür sehr gemütlich und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Generell macht das Hotel einen sehr gepflegten und sehr sauberen Eindruck. Das Personal war jederzeit hilfsbereit und freundlich. Zu empfehlen ist auch das hauseigene Restaurant V&V. Wir haben überwiegend abends dort gegessen. Für uns war die Sauberkeit und vor allem die offene Küche ausschlaggebend. Außerdem ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut und stand mit den Preisen außerhalb in nichts nach!! Auch die Lage ist einfach nur perfekt. Zur Stadtmitte und bis zur nächsten Hop on - Hop off Haltestelle auf der Long Street nur wenige Gehminuten. Die Waterfront und das Stadion sind in etwa 20 min erreichbar. Für uns ist das Hotel eine Top Empfehlung in Kapstadt!!

Absolut empfehlenswert. Modernes Hotel, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Fitness Center im 15. Stock mit Blick auf den Tafelberg, Bar und Swimming Pool im 14. Stock mit Blick auf Waterfront und das Meer. Frühstück sehr gut. Personal sehr kompetent und freundlichst. First Class zu einem sehr vertretbaren Preis.

Hotel nicely located close to local markets, restaurants, bars and supermarket. Area is a bit rough, with homeless people begging and following you for quite a while But not as had as I expected. Police and safety officers were present on most corners. If vigilant and avoiding certain streets. one can have nice walks to explore the city and shop local art, clothes and memorabilia. Rooms not huge but comfortable for family of four. Breakfast was excellent with wide range of option and available until 11 on Sunday. Hotel must have been renovated not long ago and looked modern. Staff nice and very helpful. Dining option in the hotel was nice and decently priced.

We did a same day booking and the staff were very helpful. The included buffet breakfast was really good. The rooms were spacious and the king size bed was appreciated. The shower temperature was hard to set and hot water took a while, but the water pressure was good. The hotel badly needs a refurb and is feeling and looking tired. Carpets have been replaced with hard floors, doors have multiple layers of paint and the fridge is old and the cabinet no longer has a door.

Hotel is located in the center with 6-7 mins drive by taxi to the Waterfront. Quite a concern was a "camping site" on the opposite side of the road. Taxi can park on both sides of he entrance corner. Restaurant is ok, not ideal but ok. And actually hotel is quite crowded.

the hotel as 4star was good as to fittings, room and quality. Service starting with Reception absolutely horrible. Was asked in military ordering tone: Id number, Id, passport, bankcard - and then hard to believe Bankbalance !!!.Of course I did NOT no friendliness and a tone that I would not speak to my own employes (1900). I reported this to some Gentleman who said was 'Duty manager' who did little or nothing about it. Although my booking was fully paid 10 days before arrival I was 'ordered' to pay ZAR 250 parking for the 4 days. Have been customer of Sun International since the days of no! Maharani Hotel in Durban yet. Certainly NO 4star hotel Service This treadment makes visitation in your hotels very questionable, if this is the new tone and service.

Ett standard hotell med små rum. Ligger mitt i stan nära till många restauranger. Frukosten inte mer än ok, få val och inte jätte fräscht. Bokar baserat på alla fina recensioner men tycker absolut inte hotellet lever upp till dessa. Det är ett ok hotell till ok pris, men inget mer.

Great hotel in a great location
Great hotel in a great location. The hotel is quite modern after recently being refurbished. The room was very spacious, the bed comfy and lovely shower. The hotel is a 20-minute walk to the V&A so easy to walk to. I was on the 8th floor which was nice and quiet. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Some negatives, breakfast can be quite busy and so sometimes you had to wait a while for coffee, which is taken to order. In the rooftop bar, the pool is very small, there are only a couple of sunbeds to use so unfortunately we were not able to use the pool. Service from the bar was very slow when asking for the bill and paying. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again

Modern property, convenient location, clean, just biggest let down is the majority of the staff. Shingy and Sophy and one other gentlemen at breakfast were great friendly and helpful. However the rest of the staff were not very pleasant. When we were leaving we asked for help booking a taxi - I gave specific instructions which were disregarded so the wrong taxi was ordered we then had to wait for another one which took longer and cost us more and delayed us getting to the airport. In addition everyone refused to help us with our bags so i held on to my kids while the driver and my husband had to sort the bags. Such a nice hotel but the staff really dampen the experience except for a few.

O atendimento tanto da recepção como no café da manhã e no estacionamento foram impecáveis! Funcionários todos gentis e bem humorados, cordiais e amistosos. Quarto espaçoso e confortável e banheiro muito bem planejado ( tamanho e nos detalhes). Vista linda da Table Mountain! Apenas registramos a falta de reposição de produtos do banheiro como papel higiênico, lenços de papel e tapete para saída do banho. No mais, tudo foi excelente! Ganhamos de presente o valor do estacionamento ! Gratidão!

Nice but some issues
Overall our stay was fine. However given we were staying for one night we were disturbed by staff ringing or knocking on 5 times overall. Worst was at 7.50am stating we would be checking out that day and still needed to pay. Yes, I have stayed in hotels before I don’t really appreciate being woken up because your staff didn’t take payment on arrival. Then we had a follow up. Then housekeeping knocking on despite a do not disturb sign on and again later. Felt basically pushed out of the hotel on the day we were due to be travelling home later that evening. Just felt like a bit of a shame that could have been avoided.
