The place is quite and good service . Hotel is under renovation and expansion so one has to adjust to the inconvenience. Close to the Candolim beach . 10 minutes walk . Good food , healthy and fresh .

5* delivering a 2* service
I have stayed here before and it was excellent however on this occasion it wasn't great. Hotel has significant construction happening on site resulting in noise from 8am, pool area being limited with construction fencing around the edge and no sun loungers. Hotel staff not very helpful and general manager wasn't interested in our concerns on the lack of awareness of this construction prior to booking, he informed me "We need the sales". The food standards had slipped but pricing of things was good value. The rooms are clean and styled nice, lack of sound proofing was also an issue due to the noise.

Leuk hotel in renovatie. Personeel probeert om vriendelijk te zijn. Management is waardeloos. Probeer voordat je een boeking maakt, de voorwaarden goed door te nemen. Het is eenrichtingsverkeer. Bij een foute boeking ben je geld totaal kwijt, er wordt niet gecorrigeerd/gewijzigd. Geen excuus.

Nice hotel, not fancy but clean and comfy.
Location is very good, a short walk takes you to Candolim main street where all the commerce and restaurants are. From there, another short walk takes you to the beach. The rooms are nice and clean. The pool area is comfortable to sit and refresh but the pool was not clean during my stay. The restaurant serves a breakfast where you get both local and western food which was highly appreciated.

We reserved two double bed, when we got there, they were out of double bed and provided a king bed. Many of the employees don't even talk english. Hotel will not provide or call for taxi service. Breakfast was good.

Run down and grubby
Female receptionist very unhelpful. Didn't get the Imperial room with garden view was told didn't have the facility. Everything about this hotel was dirty and rundown. The pool was a definite no no and so were the sunbeds. The garden consisted of some plastic grass on top of some concrete construction accessed by a rusty metal steps.The garden furniture was falling apart and totally unusable. Room was dirty and the sofabed was stinking and I wouldn't put my dog on it!! Would not recommend this hotel and at a loss to understand how it achieved a 4 star plus rating and a trip adviser award!!

Very quiet and serene hotel

Mediocre hotel
Very average hotel. Nothing was great, but nothing was terrible. We found the food in the hotel not so tasty and preferred going to other restaurants in the area. The quality of breakfast was below average compared to similarly priced hotels we stayed at in India, but it was not terrible. We enjoyed Candolim beach. Many young Russian families and elderly Brits seemed to vacation in that area as well.

Nice hotel with good swimming pool
I stayed at Golden Tulip with my husband for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay. We booked a deluxe room with pool view and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool was also really good. The drawback in this hotel is the food which is very expensive( 5 star hotel price) and not worth the money as we had a bad experience with ordering a Biryani one night which was the spiciest biryani we have ever had (and wasn't good on the stomach). Also the staff at the breakfast buffet are not very responsive and we had to wait for ages after ordering anything. The breakfast spread was good but they had the same items throughout the 5 days that we stayed there. In general the hotel is in good location with good restaurants and eateries nearby. We hired a scooter to go around the beaches nearby as it can be tiring walking to the beaches in the humid climate and they are not of walking distance.

We had stayed for 3 nights in Golden Tulip Goa. As the room is big and nice with good balcony. In room facilities disappoints a bit. Firstly now a days when every 3+ star hotels provide you complementary wi-fi, they charge you for the same. Also the basic amenities e.g. Dental Kit & even Hair Dryer were not available in room. However you can get it after having a call. Rest our stay was fine.

Nice Place in Candolim!!!!
I visited this property this week,overall a good place to be in Candolim. I visited second time goa so chosed golden tulip this time. Rooms were clean & spacious. Pool view from room was a plus. Candolim Beach about 1 km from location. Most of all Food was really good and especially the breakfast which was included in the booking was really awesome :) .I really liked the food which i wanted to appreciate to the Hotel Staff. Pickup & Drop was really hassle free as all were arranged at the hotel prices by the property. Faced some minor glitches which I din't liked during the stay,so have written a proper feedback to hotel. But I don't have any complaints regarding the hotel, i really liked the stay!! :) PS: You will love the property if you are a peace lover. Room Tip: Choose a Deluxe Room on higher floors as it gives you pool view unlike standard room.

Nice hotel to stay in
Hotel was quite a good experience, with bigger room and a balcony attached. Only thing that could be improved was the view of the lagoon from the balcony which was getting obstructed because of the buidling in front of it.

The Golden Tulip has a high standard and ok service. The positive: High standard in rooms, comfortalbe rooms, very clean. The negative: The service is average (but not poor), some of the rooms had a bit of an odour, they charge for the internet (and it is expensive). Overall it is ok for the money.

Modern, comfortable hotel but bit far from beach
Rooms are spacious and modern. Good bathroom, aircon, safe, fridge, lcd tv and balcony. Pool area is clean but only a small number of sunbeds making it difficult to get one. It's a good 20-30 minute walk to the beach but local bars/restaurants are 10 minutes away. Wifi is chargeable unfortunately. Breakfast is varied and nice enough.

Tired hotel, but still okay for the area as long as you don't have to pay too much.
