We are so lucky that we choose to stay in this wonderful place during our stay in Cancun. The location , the staffs , the rooms, the views are all beyond our expectations. We stayed in one bedroom apartment with lagoon view. It’s a breathtaking view, the pool, the palm trees and sound of the birds make your stay very relaxing. Thanks a lot to all the staff and also to Mrs. Chris that we have chance to talk on the day of our departure. She provided us with a very interesting information about her place . One thing I would like also to mention is the bus station that is only 3 minutes walk from the hotel and we used it for most of our trips.

The nickname for this hotel is "a Hidden Gem" and I have to agree. My gf and I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and I enjoyed the hotel....it was quiet and relaxing. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette (stove, small fridge, microwave, etc.) which was very convenient. Also, when we arrived it had a huge bottle of potable water in a dispenser which was great and we drank it all over the 2 weeks. The hotel is in a decent location...there's a oxxo convenience store, pharmacy, and currency exchange on the same side of Kulkulcan (sp??) Blvd. . On the other side of the street is Playa Tortugas and a ferry to Isla De Mujeres. There are three restaurants within walking distance...Krudo Bar & Grill and a couple restaurants across the street at Playa Tortugas (Bonanza Restaurant & Playa Tortugas Restaurant). If you go to Cancun and do not want to stay in a huge, noisy all-inclusive hotel this is the place to stay...

They gave us a room where the windows were blocked for a huge wall. In case of an emergency there was no way you could escape from the windows. That is really a hazard. We got changed to the top floor of the building with a nice room but not elevator. It seems the elevator has been broken for a while and they do not repair it. There is an excellent lady that works at front desk, Elvira, very helpful.

Unique family owned property with a pool overlooking the lagoon. Staff was really nice and helpful. They just opened their rooftop cafe and bar with a wonderful view. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and fridge. Architecture, design and art of the building is amazing. Across the street is the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Small shop for basic groceries is close, larger grocery store is further away. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The biggest issue was the severe bed bug infestation. Over the course of 3 nights my body gained more and more bites everyday. Some towels and bedding had dark stains. There is only cold water in showers and sink. The floor was extremely dusty, dirty, and sandy. Utensils were not cleanly. Hotel staff was lovely. They were extremely kind and patient with my lack of Spanish and tried their best to give me recommendations. The room and view itself was lovely other than the cleanilness.

Small and away from all the noise, but very close to places to eat, catch the bus, or book an excursion. The ferry to Isla Mujeres was very convenient. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed except wash cloths (for some odd reason). I wish they offered free coffee in their lobby but there was a convenient and a money exchange store right across the street. Would definitely stay there again.

Casa tortugas was just beautiful! We celebrated our 25th anniversary with this trip. The room was clean and had just enough to make it easy to cook or reheat food. We had wonderful views and took advantage of the rooftop bar in the evenings. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this property. Isaac at the front desk was pretty helpful and hospitable. It was close to the beach, and easy distance from the tourist attractions. Although this property didn’t have a whole lot of parking space, we didn’t have problem parking our car. The sunset view from the rear of the property is amazing. It’s quiet and cozy.

Casa Tortuga: un petit coin de paradis à Cancun!
Quelle belle surprise que notre séjour de cinq nuits à la Casa Tortuga ! Dès notre arrivée, on a été super bien accueillis. Le personnel est aux petits soins et ça se sent. C'est rare de trouver un endroit où l'on se sent si vite à l'aise. L'ambiance de l'hôtel est top. La déco des espaces communs est stylée, un mélange réussi de moderne et de touches locales. On se sent vraiment en vacances, loin du quotidien. Le gros coup de cœur, c'est le rooftop ! Quel endroit génial pour se relaxer, boire un verre et profiter de la vue. Le soir, c'est magique avec toutes les lumières de Cancun. À noter aussi, une piscine superbe au nord de la lagune, et la plage juste en face, il n’y a que la route à traverser! Petit bémol, il n'y a pas vraiment de petit déjeuner à l'hôtel. Mais bon, on a trouvé plein de bons spots aux alentours pour manger. Et la déco des chambres, bien que sympa, n'est pas aussi waouh que le reste de l'hôtel. En bref, Casa Tortuga, c'est une super adresse à Cancun. Calme, beau, avec un personnel au top. On a adoré et on recommande à fond !

Gem in Cancún
Casa Tortugas feels like staying in both your own quirky apartment and someone’s grand home. It’s quiet, friendly, and immensely comfortable. The staff is wonderful—kind annd helpful—and the Sunzet Bar is a perfect place for a quiet drink. It’s also right across from the Isla Mujeres ferry, which I used multiple times! It is a bit isolated, but buses, taxis, and Uber are easy and cheap.

Casa Tortuga was absolutely amazing. Truly a hidden gem indeed. The staff was very responsive, the hotel was beautiful with unique decor, and very clean. It's secluded in plain sight. Quiet and peaceful at night.

We had a pleasant stay at This boutique Hotel. The pool area and views are magnificent. Our room was nice but I was disappointed that there was no television in the main room and the furnishings were very sparse. Didn't feel very luxurious but the bedroom was comfortable. It was difficult to get service from the staff there due to language barrier. Overall it was nice and I would possibly consider staying here again due to the quiet, adult atmosphere and lovely views.

Perfeito e deslumbrante.
Foi incrivel ficar hospedada neste hotel. Uma piscina maravilhosa e água deliciosa! O apartamento é otimo, as camas/colchões são ótimos, só acho que devia ter um pouco mais de panelas para cozinhar. Mas, tudo perfeito. O Ivan foi super atencioso e prestativo. A proprietaria, também muito atenciosa. Adoramos e recomendamos para quem quer dias de férias se sentindo em casa. Fora que a arquitetura do hotel é deslumbrante! Amamos tudo!

Wonderful hotel! Lobby and common areas nicely arranged and clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and quite big, looking out to the ocean. We used the pool area and lounges several times and it was very peaceful. Our only complaint is that the food/restaurant selection nearby was very limited. After a long day out sightseeing, we just didn’t feel like getting a taxi to head into the hotel zone for dinner. Plan on grabbing something while you’re out and about to bring back to eat. Would definitely stay there again!

Me and my wife had a great stay in this nice family run hotel. Its has a lake view and just 4 min walk to the beach and boat to Isla Mulheres. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are going over to the party area I can recommend the bus as the stop is very close only 12 pesos compared to 30 dollars for taxi.

The property was very luxurious and had all of the amenities. The condo was big and had very good air conditioning. The property is located at the end of hotel row in a secluded area, which is nice because it's away from the nightclubs and noise. The down side is that there are limited dining options within walking distance. You will need a car or Uber to get to shopping and dining. Uber drivers won't go to the airport to pick up clients due to the taxi monopoly (mafia). I suggest using the ADO bus company to take you into Cancun then Uber from the terminal upon arrival. Everything about the condo was perfect and the pictures in the listing are very accurate. I highly recommend this place.

It was a great hotel tucked away from the noise a bit. The facilities were in great condition and very clean. Definitely have to watch the sunset from the rooftop bar.

The service was EXCELLENT! They were very helpful with all our questions! The property is beautiful. It is clean and feels very safe. There is a bus stop nearby and Uber was easy to use.
