Relaxen in angenehmer edler Atmosphäre
Wir hatten im Solage Calistoge zwei wunderschöne Tage. Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt, so dass wir den traumhaften Pool nicht nutzen konnten. Die Anlage ist erst ein paar Jahre alt, die Bepflanzung - entgegen den Beurteilungen aus den früheren Jahren - üppiger als oft dargestellt. Wir hatten einen Bungalow nah am Pool (Nr.49) - sehr empfehlenswert, da kurze Wege ins Restaurant oder zum Pool. Hier ist die Bepflanzung auch sehr schön und ansprechend gestaltet. in den hinteren Regionen wird es gelegentlich etwas karger. DIe Zimmer sind ein Traum, alles da was man benötigt (z.B.auch eine Kaffeemaschine). Der Service im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet und sehr freundlich, das Essen sehr gut. Die Preise sind angemessen. Das Spa haben wir nicht ausprobiert. In der Umgebung ist ausser Natur und den vielen Wineyards mit den dazugehörigen Häusern und Weinkellern, die man auch zum großen Teil besichtigen kann, sehr beschaulich. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen - dann hoffentlich bei Sonnenschein.

Fantastic service and accommodations.
We found this resort last minute and by accident. For the price, we had high expectations and they still managed to exceed them. The only negative is, the restaurants stop all service at 9 pm.

This was my sixth time at this hotel- I keep coming back for the amazing adults-only, serene spa pools, wonderful accommodations in villas nestled in a thoughtfully designed landscape where you feel like you’re worlds away… great restaurant, but I wish they changed the menu more often- it’s been the same since mid 2022!

Overall the resort and spa amenities were great. What took our experience to the next level were all the staff we encountered during our stay. From check in, restaurant service, valet, housekeeping and check out, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. One negative aspect of this resort is if you have allergies or scent sensitivity to jasmine, oleander and wax privet (ligustrum), these plants are used throughout the resort which triggered an allergy attack. Luckily, the keep allergy medication on hand at the front desk. Allergy season might make me think twice about my next visit, but other than that I’d definitely stay again.

Booking a room was a huge splurge for me but it was worth every moment! My favorite part was looking up and seeing beautiful nature all around as far as the eye could see surrounding the resort. Food was amazing, staff was incredible, pools were salt water and so luxurious. The only thing I found that wasn’t impressive was the tv in the room could not be connected to my accounts, the only two options were tv channels or paying $21 to watch a movie. Time to upgrade that Solage!
