Really good area. Walking distance to Church Street Marketplace, the lake, restaurants & cafes. Very good location. The hotel was ok. No fridge in my room & no internet connection, which was the downside considering the amount you pay per night. A lot of noise due to construction on going inside the hotel. You also have to pay for parking.

The good: The location is great for getting out and walking around downtown Burlington. The hotel had free bike rentals which was great for taking on the green path along the waterfront. The staff were generally pretty good and friendly overall. Parking was easy and attached to the hotel on the third floor. The bad: if you don't have a lake view room there is almost no point to have a window as you're looking at a parking garage or hotel adjacent. The rooms do not have any microwave or coffee makers. There is a shared space for coffee with a waterfill station. The waterfill station on our floor did not work properly and appeared to be damaged. I did inform staff on the first day of our stay and it was not actioned in the time we were there. Also, it is one refreshment station per floor which had us walking quite a distance for water. The room had tons of finishing issues from the bathtub spout being loose to the cap for the shower head being loose and not stuck to the wall. The bathroom has no ventilation and was like a dungeon with poor lighting and a badly placed toilet roll holder that means your leg is almost/practically resting against it while sitting. The lobby restaurant was under construction which meant no restaurant. This also meant the upstairs cafe is extremely overpriced which I assume is due to the vouchers the hotel gives you which results in a 14-18 USD breakfast sandwiches. The parking is pretty expensive at $16USD per day.

We paid a lot of $ to stay in a very tired hotel. She needs a major face lift. Bugs in the shower and blown light switches. When we checked in, the woman who checked us in was really unfriendly. I’m not a complainer, but I want my $ back.

First, there was no signage on building to tell us the name of hotel. We circled the block several times looking for a Hilton. Finally asked a random person who let us know which building, then had to figure out where to park- again no signs. The front door was locked, you have to buzzer for a person to let you in. We were told at check- in that they were changing their brand so had to cover the name of hotel- what ! The water in shower never was hotter than tepid. There was no bar that we could find. All of this for a whopping $1300 for 2 nights- cuz of course there was a 2 night minimum. Felt very ill used by Hilton- and ripped off!

The property is nice - good location and you can walk to Church street. The other Hilton is a better location. Very pricey when you add the additional costs you pay on arrival - travel tax ~40 USD and parking 16 USD per day. I wouldn't stay there again - given we were out all day and didn't use the indoor pool etc. Way too expensive for just a room to sleep in.

Unfortunately, our extra doors besides the main entrance close at 10 PM for safety but are available to be opened by calling the front desk. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very clean and all the staff were very friendly. The room was a little small and could've used a little love, but it had a lovely view and very comfortable bed, and was very clean. The hotel is under construction, and as a result there is very limited dining. The cafe is very beautiful, and there is a very nice seating area, but there is no sit down restaurant. There was also no signage out front, so we had kind of a hard time finding it. I think when the rebranding is finished it will be very nice, but in the meantime be aware that there are some challenges.

Although several sections of the property were under renovation, and some of their internal programs were being updated (to determine which rooms were cleaned) the staff and hotel were really wonderful. The staff graciously upgraded us to the lake view, and made sure the room could comfortably accommodate our family. Pool and jacuzzi area are Fabulous! Great to have parking connected to the hotel. LOVED coffee station on each floor. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location and staff. Nice room The wifi didn't work and had to spend time with support to get it going. Also the music at the pool started up around 5:00 AM which was not great. We arrived before check in so I didn't expect the room to be ready. They said they'd call when it was ready - but forgot to, so we just came back at 4:00.

Chlorine too high in hot tub. “Destination Fee’ not explained…should not be charged. No luggage rack in room. Charged $16.00 for parking. Restaurant has been under construction for weeks. Would not recommend this hotel!!

Hello Rod,Thank you for your review, and please accept my apologies for the inconvenience you suffered because of the issues you experienced with the whirlpool, our destination fee, parking, and construction. I understand how frustrating this must have been for you. Our Urban Destination Fee includes the use of our fitness center, beverage pantries, local small business discounts, local attraction discounts, sports equipment rental, outdoor lifestyle spaces, and more. This should have been explained at the front desk and we will address this with their team to ensure that this is part of the check in process. While our Original Skiff restaurant is under construction, our Lily May's Cafe is open and serving dinner until we open the signature restaurant downstairs this summer. We really hoped you'd love us - I'm so saddened to hear that we fell short. Please know that we do try to consistently deliver a superior guest experience. Should you ever find yourself back in town, please give us a chance to show you that our product and service can live up to your expectations.
