Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde umgehend reagiert. Das gebuchte Zimmer war geräumig, die Betten komfortabel. Einzig die Nachtvorhänge verdunkeln ungenügend. Das Hotel ist wunderschön und in einem einheitlichen Stil gehalten. Die Küche war ziemlichgut. Leider war das in Foren gerühmte Restaurant Concerto Gesellschaften vorbehalten und wir mussten im Bistro zu Abend essen, dessen Einrichtung nicht einem 5*-Haus entspricht. Das Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Grand Hotel Continental ist höchstens ein 3 Stern Hotel . Sehr kleines Badezimmer , sehr wenig stauraum im Zimmer . Frühstücksbüffet bedenklich, sehr wenig Auswahl und ungemütliche Atmosphäre. Gebäude ist nur von aussen sehr schön. Gehen mit Sicherheit nicht mehr dorthin .

Das gesamte Paket hat gestimmt. Optisch ist das Hotel ein Hingucker. Die Lage ist optimal. Man kann fussläufig vieles erreichen. Die Metro und der Bus sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Service ist super und das Frühstück lässt fast keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wunderbare Adresse in der Innenstadt von Bukarest
Der Aufenthalt war mehr als zufriedenstellend. Das Hotel liegt in einem mit viel Liebe und Verstand restauriertes Stadtpalais. Die Lage ist exzellent, das Personal gut geschult. Ich blieb 3Nächte im Hotel. Empfehlenswert ist das Hotel auch für Touristen durch seine Nähe zu Bukarest‘s historische Altstadt. Obwohl das Hotel auf einer der Hauptstraßen gelegen ist, die Zimmer sind ruhig und die Fenster gut isoliert. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll: eine gekonnte Mischung von Moderne ( Bad- Bereich) und nachgebauter Styl-Ambiente . Das Bett war wunderbar , die Bettwäsche von bester Qualität. Das Zimmer wurde 2 X täglich gereinigt, was einem guten 5 Sterne Hotel entspricht. Exzellent auch das Frühstück- auch mit Roomservice- und ohne Aufpreis auch bei zusätzlichen Ansprüchen. Die Restaurants des Hotels hatte ich leider nicht besucht.

Tolles Hotel mit internationalem Standard
Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet im Zentrum von Bukarest (5 Gehminunten zur Altstadt) und der Service freundlich und sehr professionell. Das Frühstück kann sich ebenfalls sehen lassen, ebenfalls wie das kostenlose Spa. Rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt in einem Hotel, daß die 5 Sterne tatsächlich verdient.

Verfangen in alten Konventionen
Eigentlich ein schönes Hotel. Eigentlich, weil das Hotel mit seinen verkrusteten und überholten Prozessen, wie viele andere 5 Sterne Häuser auch, sich selbst ein Bein stellt. Der check in dauerte über eine halbe Stunde. Drei Leute hinter der Rezeption, klickten nervös am Computer und man hatte nicht den Eindruck, das sie wüssten, was sie tun. Komplizierte Datenerhebung der Personalien, obwohl die ja schon vor Anreise digital übermittelt wurden. Ein Spa, im Keller ohne Ambiente, das offiziell nur bis 21:00 offen hat, incl. Trainingsraum, und erst um 9:00 morgens wieder öffnet.... Da ist für viele der Tag schon voll in Fahrt und für Geschäftsreisende vollkommen unbrauchbar. Zum Frühstück geht es dann, eine Farce, am prunkvoll eingedecktem Essenssaal vorbei, wieder in den Keller. Der Frühstücksraum hat kein Ambiente. Man sitzt bei Neonlicht im Kellergewölbe an kleinen Bistrotischen. Da hat Ibis und MotelOne besseres zu bieten. Sehr schade. Das Potential hätte das Haus durchaus. Aber wenn es vom Management nicht eingesetzt wird, nutzen die schönsten Säle nichts. In dem Hotel regiert der Kleinmut und degradiert so alles vorhandene zur Kulisse. Schade.

Erstklassiges Hotel mit Umsatzsteuerfortbildung
Ein durchaus gelungener Aufenthalt. Einzig: Die Hotelbar machte bereits um 23.30 Uhr Abrechnung, so dass man nicht mehr auf's Zimmer schreiben lassen konnte. - Oder wie das Servicepersonal sagte: Wie viel Geld haben sie denn? Dann nahm er meine RON und ich verlies den Raum ohne Rechnung. Also ein Lehrstück im Sinne des Umsatzsteuerbetrugs.

Great location, lovely hotel and wonderful personnel. The only thing that bothered us is the SPA including or excluding. After enquiry our booking seemed to be excluded the spa. If we knew that we would have booked. But is not clear or mentioned that our booking were excl. with other words during the booking we felt mislead. Which is shame

Several comments : The housekeeping staff was excellent. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming but need more training as to when you need reservations or don't for sites that visitors frequent. It would help if they were better informed and didn't give conflicting information. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, the selections were plentiful and high quality. My room was really, really small and given that I was staying for 5 nights it was difficult to maneuver around. It seems like at one time it was part of a suite that was separated off. There was a courtyard area that was quite lovely for relaxing outdoors and reading.
