Very good hotel near central station

So lala
Empfang war so lala, die Damen waren mehr damit beschäftigt in ihr Tablet zu schauen. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer, haben auch den gleichen Preis pro Zimmer inkl. Frühstück bezahlt und mussten dann bei einem Zimmer noch einmal ein Frühstück nachzahlen. Bei Nachfrage warum wurden wir sehr unhöflich behandelt, da sie wohl keine Erklärung dafür hatte. Als wir dann noch eine Quittung verlangten wurde sie noch unfreundlicher. Trotz allem, war die Übernachtung gut und das Frühstück war fein.

Zentral in der City gelegenes Hotel
kaum Möglichkeit das Zimmer zu lüften! Das Fenster ließ sich leider nur einen winzigen Spalt öffnen um Nachts frische Luft ins Zimmer zu lassen. Dazu funktionierte die Umluftanlage nicht richtig und der Fan ließ sich gar nicht einschalten. Sehr ärgerlich , da Zimmer mit Südlage und praller Sonneneinfall den gesamten Tag über.

Super schneller und freundlicher Servie, saubere Zimmer, gemütliche Betten - alles was man braucht! Nur die Lage ist nicht ganz so toll, aber zu Fuss ist die Innenstadt ganz gut zu erreichen und von dort kommt man ganz easy überall hin.

Angemessen für Kurzaufenthalt
Ich habe sechs Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht, der Aufenthalt war insgesamt zufriedenstellend. Lage: direkt am Bahnhof Bristol Temple Meads, daher ideal, um überall schnell hinzukommen, allerdings auch sehr laute Umgebung. Von meinem Zimmer konnte ich die ein- und ausfahrenden Züge beobachten und hören, auch die Lautsprecherdurchsagen am Bahnhof. Die Fenster des Hotels sind allerdings schallisoliert, sodass man bei geschlossenen Fenstern kaum etwas hört. Fußweg in die Innenstadt ca. 15 Minuten am Fluß entlang Richtung Castle, sehr nett. Zimmerausstattung: Sehr schlicht und spartanisch, typisch Ibis. Es ist aber alles da, was man braucht. Ein großes Plus ist die Klimaanlage. Sauberkeit: Teils enttäuschend, nur oberflächlich. Haare im Bett sind m.E. absolut inakzeptabel! Service: Personal unterschiedlich freundlich. Ich musste viermal zur Rezeption, weil meine Keycard nicht mehr funktionierte, eine Entschuldigung erhielt ich nur einmal. Gastronomie: Recht ansprechender Barbereich, in dem auch das Frühstück eingenommen wurde. Frühstück reichhaltig und gut. Fazit: Ein zentral gelegenes Hotel für den kleinen Kleinbeutel, insgesamt akzeptabel mit einigen Abstrichen.

Bestellte ein taxi für morgens um 05.00 uhr. Es kam ein privatmann, kein taxozähler, keine ahnung ob 20 pounds der normale preis zum flughafen bristol ist???

Komfortables sauberes Hotel in Bahnhofsnähe
Ich war 4 Nächte in besagtem Hotel Ibis. Von großem Vorteil für mich war die unmittelbare Nähe zum Bahnhof Temple Meads, da ich sehr gerne Ausflüge mit der Bahn mache. Zum Stadtzentrum muss man allerdings einen Fußmarsch von 20 Minuten auf sich nehmen. Das Hotel scheint ordentlich geführt und wirklich sauber. Dass über die ganze Zeit einer von zwei Liften ausser Betrieb war, führt in einem Hotel dieser Größe zwangsläufig zu lästigen Wartezeiten. In meinem Buchungskomplettpaket war kein Frühstück enthalten, also habe ich dies zusätzlich gebucht. Der Preis von 38 Pfund scheint mir hier allerdings viel zu teuer auch wenn das Buffet in Ordnung war. Nächstes Mal gehe ich lieber in ein Pub. Als unangenehm könnte das stetige Belüftungsgeräusch empfunden werden, mich hat es nicht gestört. Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

A hotel with nice clean rooms close to Temple Meads station. The rooms were a little small, but overall pretty good. Staff was friendly and helpful toward any questions. Entrance was a little difficult due to the construction in the area.

Very clean and comfortable, with a particularly spacious shower which has great pressure and temperature. Some elements of the hotel were dated but had an overall contemporary feel and the keycard system made you feel very safe. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating, would stay again.

Too much noise, construction in the building
I mean, I like this hotel, but there was constructions just one floor below, so at 9am the drill was so loud, and during for hours. You could rest or think or anything after 9am. I was on holiday, I went out a bit at night and the mornings were just horrendous. Too much noise.

A few of the light bulbs didnt work which was a shame as couldnt create a cosy atmosphere to relax after a long stressful day. Also didnt have a working extractor fan in the bathroom. The room was what you would expect for the price and was comfortable after a long day. The shower and provided shampoos were great. Did get charged twice but the morning receptionist helped me get a refund on the double charge.
