Ich hatte einen late-checkin. Bruce hat alles für mich geregelt. Sofort habe ich mich geborgen und sicher gefühlt. Einfach super. Die Leute im Hotel sind absolut spitze. Bei meiner Abreise nach Mackay habe ich gleich nochmals für meine Rückreise gebucht ( hatte noch kein Hotel zu dieser Zeit ) Danke Novotel Brisbane und allen Angestellten. J.Nemeth

Super zentrale Lage, schönes Ambiente
Checkin sowie Checkout super schnell und reibungslos. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Da wir bis kurz vor Heiligabend da waren, bekamen die Kinder am Abreisetag sogar noch ein kleines Präsent von "Santa Claus" vor die Zimmertür gelegt. 😉👍

The hotel looks great following renovations, reception staff were friendly and the cleaning staff on floor 6 were very friendly and helpful. The location is central to the train station and walkable to town. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent, very well laid out with everything available. The only negative to our stay, the bar closed at 10pm, meaning our group couldn’t enjoy a night cap before retiring for the night. When we did get an opportunity to use the bar, the staff were overwhelmed, couldn’t accommodate a quick service and got cocktail orders wrong.

The front line manager lady was so rude and unprofessional. I have never seen anyone with that bad behaviour in a front line job. The receptionists both at night time and day time were good. I don’t know how they are still smiling with this arrogant manager around. When I was talking to her she didn’t even bother to look at my face but looked somewhere and tried to avoid the conversation. I asked her if it is possible to change the booking to a different date due to my appointment date at the hospital got changed. When I asked the receptionist over the phone she said it’s not a problem. When Expedia contacted the hotel, they denied. So I want to talk to them in person. She knows that I am a doctor as I explained about the situation. To my horror, she said she also got a medical degree (not related to the topic or her job), knows which appointment can be changed or not. She said she will never book her room via Expedia and it’s people like us always try to book rooms on a cheap price. She should have just said a “No” but she chose to humiliate in front of everyone. I am a gold member and the discount is for all VIP members. I didn’t opt for that discount, as for me the top priority is a nice, clean hotel with 4 or 5 stars rating. I told her I am not asking for a refund or demanding the cancellation or change over, all I am trying to do is having a conversation and explaining the situation. She said repeatedly she will never book via Expedia and doesn’t care now.

We absolutely loved the city views from our room. The Aircon worked perfectly in the humidity. I particularly loved the tiny attention to details in the amenities in the rooms. Highlight was the ability to leave our luggage in storage between our visits to the hotel 10 days apart.

The slight height difference between the carpet and the bathroom and if I hadn't been careful, I could have easily slipped. Additionally, one of the staff members accidentally charged us for 5 breakfasts instead of the 3 we had.

Great renovated hotel, with massive rooms, would happily stay again. Only minor things could be improved. Like a big bottle of shower gel rather than 1 x 30ml per day for 2 x people, for the lobby bar area to be revamped, and the third lift on the right snapped shut way too quickly (without me being delayed for even a second) and hit my arm.

One of the best in Brisbane
We have always stayed at this hotel when coming to Brisbane. They have recently completed the upgrades and the whole hotel looks amazing. The room now has a really big walk in shower. The location is great as it is just next to Central train station and a short walk to the City Centre. The price is always great. The staff always are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Well located and easy to access
- Convenient to access with a car as it is just outside of the crazy CBD traffic - Check-in was quick, friendly and efficient - Room and bathroom was clean and user-friendly - Bed and pillows were so comfortable and that is the most important to us - Pool was heated to be able to comfortably swim in the early morning and later in the evening - huge PLUS One negative: - Shower water pressure mediocre and water temperature was very difficult to get right - either too hot or not warm enough - with a lot of work we got an okay temperature but it was frustrating. The comfortable beds made up for it though.

Easy walk from Central train station and into Queen St Mall. Fast efficient check in. I was given early check in as a room was ready at no extra charge. Very clean, staff excellent. Room good size, very comfortable and well presented. With all you need. Only freeview channels and signal dodgy. But this seems to be case wherever you stay in Australia. Safe and quiet.
