What a wonderful and unique experience. Everything was TOP NOTCH ... great designs with excellent furnishings ... chalet was clean and well stocked. Everything about the decor and the grounds was perfect in keeping with the Viking theme. We will be back !!

The resort exceeded our expectations. The property truly feels like a Viking village with amazing attention to detail. The cabin was SPOTLESS !!!! I think this is the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. You can really tell the ownership / management truly cares about this beautiful place. The Viking sheep outside was an extra bonus and they were adorable ! I cannot wait to book again with the rest of the family. Great place for adults and kids. BOOK NOW!! you will NOT regret it I promise.

Viking Village Escape
My stay at the Viking village was truly one-of-a-kind. The meticulous attention to detail didn't escape my notice, and the host's hospitality added a special touch to the experience. Had me ready to grow a full beard, and go raiding
Cozy, clean and the staff is accommodating and hospitable. Viking village should be on your list of things to check out. It's perfect if you want to get away for a few days and relax. We enjoyed the place and had a great experience. My guess is that it would be a blast to visit when there's snow on the ground or it would also be supercool in the summer when other guests might venture out and be social. Do yourself a favor and check it out

Pillaging at Viking Villages
Super fun stay at Vikings Villages - There was only one other cottage rented while we were there so it was very quiet and private. The interior is comfortable and the viking theme was fun. Only issue would be the size of the television. All in all great hosts and nice stay - close to excellent restaurants and shopping.

The property was so cool, felt like we were in a movie. The rooms were very thoughtfully decorated and looked exactly like the photos. The staff was very sweet and caring, check in and out was easy and relaxed. Very cozy and unique getaway.

The owners are simply the best. Stepped in to help and treated us like family. The village is wonderful and the cottage was so cool. Our 8 year old twins loved it. Two stories with a kitchen.

Fantastic!! This is a must do!!
Absolutely wonderful!! One of the best gems in Vermont!! We enjoyed our stay as a couple but would also highly recommend for a family traveling with children! There’s room for the little ones and a large yard to play. Plus, they are only an hour away from the Dr Seuss museum! These beautifully appointed cabins are cozy, comfortable, and exceptionally peaceful. They are tucked away in the woods, off the beaten path, and we loved it! I would love to be a regular visitor, and if we make it back to Vermont, this will be a must do!! The owners are super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us useful information about the area. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

Our stay was perfect. Easy check in/check out process. The grounds and cabin were clean and beautiful, such craftmanship. Quiet secluded area. About an hour from Stratton Mountain gondola and 40 mins to Vermont Country Store, which were top on our lists this visit. We traveled with 2 small children and they loved the property. Theres a grassy area with picnic tables and space to walk/run around and explore in front of the cabins. The kids enjoyed looking for rocks. We packed our own baby gate, which made navigating the stairs to loft a breeze. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, would recommend stopping at grocery store in town before arriving as stores seemed to close early and not a ton of food options close by. The owners had the cabin stocked with coffee, a few pastries, and welcome sparkling cider which we enjoyed! We will definitely be back

Gorgeous, brand new, fun property set in a quiet forest outside of Guilford. The cabins look rustic but have all the modern conveniences. They look fantastic and are comfortable and cozy. Christina was very patient and helpful with us.

Amazing decor and excellent environment to hang out and enjoy. Rooms actually have sleeping space for many people and if anyone I know is ever looking for a wedding venue then I'd suggest renting out the whole village (not sure if they act as a venue though). Cannot rate highly enough 10/10

Our stay during the weekend of the Green River Marathon @ Viking Village couldn’t have been better! From the ease of communicating with staff about our trip logistics to the lovely and well appointed accommodations, we loved our time in Guilford, VT. An easy 15-20 minute ride to downtown Brattleboro dining and shopping too!

Amazing place! Will return.
Absolutely amazing! It’s great to see quality and pride in someone’s business. The wood work is just amazing and to see pride in that work is just something you don’t see anymore. Hoping they open a restaurant or add some entertainment and it would be absolutely perfect. However if you’re looking to relax and just want to be away from the world it’s a great place to do that!

The property is amazing. You stay in a brand new Viking cabin. So clean and comfortable. There are kitchens in each cabin. There’s no restaurant on the property but many options a short drive away. It really was a fantastic place.

1 night isn’t enough
We came up for just 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer! This is a gem hidden away in the woods. It would be nice if there were an option for food on the premises (we didn’t want to leave!), but this is a new facility, so my expectations were low, and we’re ultimately exceeded by the beauty of the accommodations. It really felt like we were going back in time!
