Great stay at a great place!
We absolutely loved our time here at the "creekside cottage"! You dont realize how close the creek is to the back porch, the sound of the water is amazing! This is a great A frame cottage in a nice private spot, and still about 10 to 15 minutes from anything you want or need to do!

Nice quiet getaway
It was a very nice little spot I did however think that it was further off the road and not as many neighbors but they were very friendly and really nice people and we had just as much privacy as if we didn’t have anyone around us. It was a little pricey for me considering it was only 2 days as small at was but all around I have no complaints I enjoyed my stay

Awesome Cabin Getaway!
I really enjoyed staying in the Creekside Cottage (cabin) in Boone, NC! This was my first booking with VRBO - although I was skeptical, the A-frame cabin exceeded my expectations! It was a wonderful stay. The residence was well stocked with linens and cooking utensils. The interior is beautiful. I was hoping for a winter snow, but I really am glad the weather and the roads were clear. It was a beautiful stay. I will book that location again. Please thank the owner for me. K. Harrell

Good stay, but hot tub and bed could be upgraded
Great location and close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Main bed was very uncomfortable due to sinking in middle, and couldn’t enjoy the hot tub due to strong chlorine.

Thanks David for expressing your concerns. Nobody has mentioned any problem with the mattresses, but I will check into as both beds have new, top of the line, individual spring firm mattresses that are only 8 months old. I’m sorry about the chlorine smell with the hot tub. . I should leave a note out by the tub stating, leave the cover off and hit the clean button for a few minutes before using. If it’s a quick turnaround between guest, there is not much time to clean the hot tub, let it process, leave the cover off to let the smell dissipate and be ready before the 3 o’clock check in. I agree with you that the chemical smell is hard on the eyes. The good news is that if you smell the chemicals , you know it’s been cleaned. The sign would remedy that I believe Joe

Awesome Get Away
My husband, dog, and 2 kids and loved our stay.This cabin was spotless and well maintained. Usually vacation rentals are filled with decorative nick nacks that leave no room for the guests, this one was nicely laid out for relaxation. We loved the location and overall vibe of the place. The hot tub actually worked and the kitchen had all the right things for us to make simple meals. It was wonderful to hear the brook babble as we had our bonfire. We would love to come back and highly recommend it for others!

Relaxing cabin
We booked the cabin which is convenient to towns of Blowing Rock and Boone. Cabin was just as advertised and very comfortable. We felt at home and relaxed. Cabin is easy to find and minutes away from several sites in Blowing Rock. Neighbor has some friendly dogs not on leash so be careful if you bring your pet. Our dog doesn’t get along with other dogs so he wasn’t happy to see the next door guests. We will most likely return to this cabin.

Boone Vacation
A lovely home in the mountains with a relaxing hot tub. Lot’s of things things to do (zip-lining at Hawksnest, shopping in town and out) and places to eat (Pepper’s next to Harold Teeter) and lots of peace and quiet. The melody of the creek infuses all outdoor activities at the cabin.

This is the best place to stay in the Boone area, hands down. The property owners were very communicative and kind. The house itself was a beautiful, quiet, clean and cozy cabin. Relaxing getaway
The cabin was perfect for what we needed, which was a short 3 day getaway from the hustle and bustle. We drove from Raleigh in just 3 hours, and found the cabin to be just as described, the property owner pleasant and responsive, and the atmosphere perfectly peaceful. The location is super convenient to the parkway, Blowing Rock, and numerous activities. With a fire pit, hot tub, and mountain stream, what more could we ask for? Fantastic Location
We were in town to visit family and ski at Sugar and Beach Mountain. The location was perfect, just a short drive to the ski resort area and halfway between Boone and Blowing Rock. We can’t wait to come back sometime when the Rhododendrons are in bloom! They are huge and surround the house perfectly for privacy. This is a great place!

We enjoyed our stay at Creekside Cottage. The house is just as advertised - cozy, peaceful setting, and very convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. Loved all the windows,, the gas log fireplace, and the creek out back, really helped us relax on a much-needed getaway. Also loved the ease of access to the cottage - a big plus since we don't have AWD vehicle. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area. For restaurant recommendations we especially liked Melanie's in Boone and Moon in Blowing Rock.

We’re a family of 3 plus our dog. This is the perfect size cabin for us. Super cozy, great fireplace. Excellent location for both boone and blowing rock and the parkway. The bed in the loft has become a bit uncomfortable, but bring your own pillow and you’ll be fine. We will be back.

Great location, sweet property
The property is very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock and Boone - so close that visiting any if the activities in those areas is always a short drive away. Check in was easy - the owners very communicative via the app. While I suspect they live on the property next to the house, we never saw them on the property so the privacy was great. The hot tub was excellent - after many long hikes we used it to relax and rejuvenate - and it was clean and well maintained. The house is very cute - it is located in a subdivision but it’s quite private given the way it sits on the property. The creek out the back provides a really nice ambiance with its sounds. It has a country feel to the decorating which matched the location. The house isn’t new and there are some areas looking a bit worn, but it’s fully functional and cosy. All the cookware etc was decent quality and worked well, and was clean and ready to use. We loved our stay here and would gladly stay here again - thank you to the Temples for helping make out stay so amazing in a stunning part of the world!

This place was perfect for us. Walking distance to a nice hiking trail and pretty secluded even though it’s in a neighborhood. The deck hadn’t been blown off but owner had been out of town, and it wasn’t too bad. It is a cozy home in a beautiful setting and we wiuld definitely come back.
