Thank you for your review & I am pleased you found the Chalet well equipped, clean & in a good location on the Site. It is disappointing to hear you did not fully enjoy your stay at my Chalet. The sizes of the bedrooms are compact but this is portrayed well by the photos & the full description on my Website. Along with wardrobes & overhead cupboards there are additional under bed storage boxes for non hanging items. I am sorry this was not sufficient for your needs. The Shower cubicle is a ‘Standard‘ size. Also it does not have a sliding door that can sometimes restrict access but with a door that opens fully so I am surprised that you state it was very small. I ask all guests to report any issues to me during their stay in order that I can try to resolve them as soon as possible. Unfortunately you did not contact me therefore I was unable to ask the Holiday Park (responsible for the water pressure) Manager to investigate the problem. Also I was unable to ensure the shower controls had been set correctly. I am pleased you enjoyed the new addition of Wi-fi in my Chalet & found the facilities for the Children on the Holiday Park good.

I am sorry you experienced a disruption to the water supply during your stay. The mains water to my Holiday home is one of the services provided by the Holiday Park in conjunction with the Area Water Board & its supply & maintenance is therefore out of my control. I spoke to the Holiday Park Receptionist, with you in attendance, and asked they provide you with alternative arrangements for showering and bottled water until the problem was resolved. Other Holiday Homes had also been affected, however I appreciate you knowing this did not help towards your disappointment and the enjoyment of your stay. I have arranged for the Holiday Park to provide you with compensation towards the inconvenience you experienced. I am concerned you did not feel the photos and description did not correspond to reality. Regarding the ‘terrace’ I make no mention of one in my description, however it states there is a ‘small communal garden with fabulous sea view next to the adjacent chalet. A portable picnic table and chairs are provided for guests use.’ Internet coverage does vary considerably between Mobile Phone Service providers. Although the Chalet is at the bottom of a very picturesque Valley most UK networks will give some coverage. It is always my intention to give my guests the best Holiday experience during their stay at my Chalet and I regret this was not achieved with yourselves and did not meet your expectations.

There is free wifi in the clubhouse & entertainment areas & this was due to be extended to all Holiday Homes across the Holiday Park by August. This was advised prior to the Covid pandemic & lockdown in March so I will ask Parkdean Resorts when installation can now be expected.
