Das Malmaison Hotel in Belfast liegt perfekt für alle, die einen Städtetrip planen. “Kern-Belfast” liegt quasi genau gegenüber, Pubs, Geschäfte, ein Einkaufszentrum und mehrere Bushaltestellen sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Selbst das Titanic-Museum liegt nur etwa 15-Gehminuten entfernt. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll, in sehr gutem Zustand und lässt kaum Wünsche offen - gleiches gilt auch für die Zimmer. Lediglich der Fitnessraum ist sehr klein geraten und “nur” mit einem Crosstrainer, Laufband und einer Reihe Kurzhanteln ausgestattet. Wer eine Woche bleibt und auf ein tägliches, umfassendes Training nicht verzichten will, sollte auf die umliegenden Fitnesscenter ausweichen. Das Personal des Malmaison ist jederzeit hilfsbereit und nimmt sich für jeden Gast so viel Zeit, bis alle Fragen beantwortet sind und der Gast zufrieden ist. Die vielen netten, hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter haben den Aufenthalt im Malmaison besonders angenehm gemacht. Auch beim Frühstück gab es nichts zu meckern. Die Mahlzeiten waren ausgezeichnet. Hier merkt man, dass die Küche auf Frische setzt und gute Zutaten zu schätzen weiß. Belfast und das Malmaison: auf jeden Fall wieder.

Zentrumsnahes Hotel zu vernünftigem Preis. Farbauswahl (ziemlich dunkel) der Einrichtung ist vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache, aber wird auch kaum jemanden wirklich stören. Frühstück war uns zu teuer, wir frühstückten in einem netten Lokal in der Nähe. Zusammenfassend: alles okay, gerne wieder.

Liked the upgrade to a club room and the room service breakfast for our room was very good. Unfortunately for our travel companions their room service slip was never picked up and had to go to the restaurant which was inconvenient for an early start. There was a reopening event and obviously too much time and effort went towards these non-paying guests and their freebies

We enjoyed our stay here, a convenient location for links to the George Best airport and walking to Queen’s university (albeit this is a bit of a walk). The hotel was having some renovations done during our stay, but it didn’t affect us. Rooms were nice and it was quiet.

The room was very hot even with radiator off and window open. I mentioned it at reception on check out and they said they had air conditioning. I checked they don't have it in bedrooms!! Also charged £21 for each breakfast whilst on tables in dining room it said it was £19. Don't like not being told truth and being charged the wrong amount for breakfast.

Arrived at hotel to find renovations being carried out with no mention of this at the time of booking. Having to walk through a building site to get to our room. Hotel lobby has music playing from 6am - 2am with speakers fixed to ceiling which means you can hear the music in your room while trying to sleep. Reception not interested.

We had a lovely stay although the room was tired and noisy. We could hear the upstairs guests walking around quite loudly and the shower was in poor condition. I appreciate there are renovations taking place and of updated would stay again. The staff were super lovely and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Location wise it couldn’t be better.

Liked; *Option to trade room cleaning for a free drink. *Staff very friendly *Food was amazing Disliked; *Dirty socks and tissues under my bed from previous guest(s). *Advertised as having a gym. This is a big stretch. They have one treadmill and a cross trainer in a room more like a cleaning cupboard. *Lifts hit and miss if they worked. *Refillable soaps looked like they had semen swirling around in it.

Gorgeous Hotel, breakfast was amazing and check in was swift and friendly. I had to score it down though because the heat in the room was completely unbearable. Woke up at 6am sweating, tried to turn the radiator down but the controls seems to not work. Couldn’t get back to sleep due to the heat. Getting ready after my shower (which was also piping hot) was so uncomfortable.managed to open the window a little but it did very little.

Training needed
One of the worst Malmaison stays i've had. You can forgive a lot with a great customer experience and unfortunately that was not on offer here. Lobby clearly going through refurb which is fine but no prior notice given so you are checking in beside people eating and drinking, which is ok. Staff at reception when we checked in were doing a job rather than providing an experience. Rushed, uninterested and distant. Breakfast - avoid avoid avoid. The food is average at best and you can go to St Georges market and have quality coffee and breafast while enjoying the place. The staff at breakfast were a shambles. Cleaned our table (half anyway) then i went to sit down and ended up cleaning my own chair which was covered in the last couples breakfast. It took 40 minutes for us to order brealfast, which happened because i approached one of the ladies to do so. I could go on but its pointless. Invest in trianing and ensure staff are dressed in clean clothes and teach them some service manners. Thisnis my secomd tay in 6 months and the service levels have not changed. Just my opinion however.

Sadly we stayed at the Malmaison during a refurbishment! So it was not at its best!! Cold Dining area & false partions & builders on site. Still there is never a good time to do a refurb unless you shut the Hotel. Nice people but just bad timing forvour visit.

Du luxe avec un prix raisonnable
L'hôtel est très beau, les chambres sont grandes, le personnel souriant et à disposition et le petit-déjeuner copieux. Attention la literie est tellement confortable qu'on risque de rester longtemps couché.
