It was a real pleasure to stay at HUG during my 10 days in Lebanon! The staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions I had! I loved having a great restaurant and Cafe (Bayt Em Nazih) direkt in the hotel ; it serves great breakfast, good food, drinks and shisha and is a perfect place to get in contact with other travelers! Also the rooftop is a must-see and hangout spot; can't image how great it's up there during the summer! I was a 29 year old, single female traveler during my stay at HUG and since I hadn't planned traveling by myself (I came for a language course which unfortunately got canceled 2 days prior my arrival) I first was a bit anxious about how my stay would be in Lebanon. But it became one of my most memorable vacations and HUG and the ppl I met there played a major part in that🤗! Thank you very much to the entire HUG team and hope to see you again!

The hotel is located in the middle of the area Al Hamra 10 minutes by feet from the “Corniche” and surrounded by many cafés. The breakfast buffet as well as the food of the hotel café “Em nazih” is delicious and the café itself is a cosy place to be. Every request was realised immediately by the hotel team. My next stay in Beirut will be at Hamra Urban Gadens.

Frühstück ist ausreichend. Man hat eine Auswahl an verschiedenen landestypischen Gerichten. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gesäubert und ist komfortabel. Bett war sehr bequem. Der Pool und die Hotelbar sind toll. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. All unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Zu empfehlen für Paare, Freunde. Hauptsächlich Gäste zwischen 20 und 40 Jahren.

Our second stay at HUG. Overall good place considering the cost. The low rates mean it's always full and busy. Good location. Good service. Clean. Washer and dryer are an attractive addition but old and the dryer just doesn't dry. Wish the terrace was open since we had sunny warm days but it's closed for the winter. 2 major issues: it's supposed to be a non-smoking facility but people smoke in the rooms and you can smell it in the hallway and drifting under the doors. Including one night in the neighboring room where they were smoking weed. Second major issue: Friday and Saturday nights they had live music at the club and the pounding music went on until 1:30am... can hear it all the way to 5th floor. One minor issue: key to the room gets deprogrammed on its own for some reason (they said when it's close to cell phone or in wallet) so one has to try to get in the room, realize it doesn't work, then go back to get it reprogrammed. Happened daily to us. If HUG could work on the smoking issue, we would definitely go back.

Hamra Urban Gardens Beirut (room 408) +Smoke-free room. +Location, near everything, restaurants, cafés, grocery store. +Free and good Wi-Fi, air-condtion, refrigerator, kettle, safe box, TV. +Gym and bar. +Swimming pool (closed during winter time), couldn't see how it was, so no pictures from me. +Friendly and helpfull staff. -No water bottles in the room. +/- Didn't get to chance to try their food/breakfast as I had to leave early, but I did try the "cake" they have in the store next to the entrance. It's a nice place but the traffic around the area is chaos during the day if you go by car/taxi.

Really enjoyable stay. The prices are really amazing for this place. The location "Hamra" is at a busy shopping area so there are lots of shopping options and also not far away from the ocean at all. Un hôtel très bien placé, à côté de la rue Hamra: shopping, restaurants, money exchange, agences de voyages... Propre, confortable, agréable. Le personnel est très aimable et attentionné, le manager très professionnel a trouvé très vite solution a un petit problème... Vraiment très bien dans l'ensemble. Un grand merci.

Amazing terrace
I loved the terrace with the pool and the bar, great to spend a perfect day and evening. The room was also nice, with everything needed. I would definitely like to go back. The staff is there 24/7 and is extremely nice :)

I recommended this hotel to my friends several times, for now, I'm not recommending them at all, nothing inside the room for a normal 3 stars hotel, even no drinking water. Towels smell sucks, dirty sheets, bad bathroom, very bad customer helpdesk, they charge a lot of money with very bad internet, almost no internet and bad electricity
