Wunderbare Zeitreise
Ein sehr schönes renoviertes Hotel mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal. Sehr zentral. Parkmöglichkeiten am Rande der Innenstadt. Natürlich ist ein Vergleich mit modernen Hotels unfair. Aber hier will man ja in der Altstadt sein.

Schlaflos in Avignon
Das Hotel liegt zentral, Preis ok und Personal freundlich. Aber: Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig und bei entsprechenden Nachbarn ist an Schlaf nicht zu denken.

affordable stay at city center
stayed just 1 night, all went smooth, location in city center is great. The room had the requested 2 separate beds and was clean and comparatively large, same as the bathroom. Only negative was noise in the narrow alley (a few guys talking aloud and testing a motorbike at 2AM) as the room was facing the alley. Breakfast for 8,50 € was OK.

Tolles Hotelzimmer inmitten der Altstadt.
Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen. Alle Ausflüge zu Fuß von hieraus. Klitzekleines Manko: keine Parkplätze direkt am Haus . Dafür Parkhaus in der Nähe.

Everything about this hotel was top rate! Spotlessly clean, super friendly and responsive staff, location, price, and amenities in the room. Yes, the room was small, but when I travel I don't really expect to spend all that much time besides sleeping in my room. It is meant as a small, affordable hotel and not a luxury hotel and it far exceeds this goal. I highly recommend it.

One of the rooms we booked had several flying bugs. The receptionist went into the room to check the condition. Despite our objection of not applying insecticide to kill the bugs, she sprayed it right away when she saw them flying in the bathroom. We travelled with children and had concerned about the effects on kids. The family who supposed to stay in the room moved to another hotel and had not received any response from the hotel owner/management after a week. Very disappointed.

Dear guest, Thank you for staying with us. In your room were 2 small butterflies and not bugs. You insisted on killing them because you didn't want them in the room. Take in account that we are in Provence and it is spring time here, the butterflies are coming back. the receptionist didn't want to spray them, she did it after your insisting. Kind regards.

Hotel Medieval was a great little hotel in Avignon. Convenient to key attractions and on a quiet street. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was small but perfectly fine for a holiday stay. The air-conditioner worked well which was important given the 40 degree heat outside.

Il manque un rideau de douche dans la baignoire. Chambre peu isolée. Personnel serviable et accueillant. Je regrette que ma demande de 2 lits séparés, bien que confirmée à la réservation, n'ait pas été prise en compte. Heureusement on a pu le jour j changer de chambre.

Stay at the hotel medieval
Nice hotel with very central location at 5 minutes walk from the Palais des Papes. Minimalistic, but comfortable. The AC did not seemed to work but it was not hot enough to make it necessary plus one can open the window (although sometimes you might hear a couple loud people in the middle of the night).

Hotel Medieval is in the heart of Avignon. It's on a quiet street which is excellent for sleeping. 1 block away there is a square with lots of restaurants. It's an easy and close walk to all the sights of Avignon ie Palais du Papes was about a 4-5 min walk. The size of the room was fantastic, especially for France. We looked over a quaint coutyard. We would definitely stay there again! We highly recommend Hotel Medieval.

Bonjour, Nous sommes content de savoir que vous aviez apprécié notre hôtel. Il est situé en plein centre de la vielle ville, et la circulation dans le centre-ville d'Avignon est restreint. En plus, étant une ville médiévale, ce qui fait son charme, les rues sont assez étroites. Mais, l'accès au parkings est facile si on y va directement, surtout le Parking du Palais de Papes.Cordialement.

This is an old fashioned French hotel : cozy, quiet, comforting but not modern or slick. Our room was on a charming courtyard and we were able to have the doors and windows wide open. The location can't be beat.
