ich wollte ein Zimmer mit Meerblick auf einer höheren Etage. Ich mußte bis nach 16.00 warten und bekam dann ein Zimmer zwar mit Fenster , aber ich hätte auf die Möbel stegen müssen , um etwas zu sehe. Das Fenster war unterhalb der Decke. Als ich das Zimmer tauschen wollte , war dies nicht. Wenn ich morgen kein anderes Zimmer bekomme , storniere ich meinen ganzen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel

Granted, it’s been a few years since we’ve been here, but the property has been rundown. Also, after waiting an hour and a half to check in, we were told the room that we paid in advance for wasn’t available. We were offered an upgrade but had to pay for it (which we were not charged what we were told we would be charged upon check out) staff is still very pleasant but probably won’t return any time soon

The first hotel room they gave us the AC was broken! Waited and hour no one came to fix it as promised so I had to wait in line to get another room! The AC wasn't great in that room either but we were already frustrated. I paid the $30 extra early check in fee but spent 2 hours waiting for maintenance, getting a new room and dragging all our stuff to the next room! NONE of the ice machines worked, The Chelsea pool was not open and it was my birthday ! Unfortunately I was very disappointed in this stay! Was not worth the money at all!

We’ve been going to the Tropicana for close to 10 years. We will not be going back. It has not only gotten so run down, but it is extremely under-staffed. It took almost an hour for us to check in because there was only a single person working the desk on Memorial Day weekend because all of the electronic check-in Kiosks were not working. Additionally for >$400/night we were not able to even get housekeeping, and here is the direct quote from the automated text message “concierge” response (again, because there was no human staff available to answer the line): “ I do apologize! It is our intention to provide make-up service for all occupied rooms daily. We are only offering limited services at this time which may delay the cleaning of your room. A housekeeper will drop off your pillows within an hour. Please make sure your do not disturb sign is not on your door for delivery. :)” The pillows and linens were also cheap, it was like sleeping with a little throw pillow. I am a pretty low-maintenance person and never want to be a Karen, but the corner-cutting, cheapness, and under-staffing were ridiculous. Next we will be staying at the Ocean or Hard Rock where you actually get your moneys worth. Sadly, a hard pass.

When we first arrived to our property we noticed that the floor was wet as though the room was just cleaned. After the next day we noticed there were wet spots on the floor so we thought possibly moisture from the air conditioner. On the last day we stepped on the floor and realized it is something wrong with the floors.

The pool hours were unrealistic- lobby said one thing online said 6pm but when we got to the pool the lifeguard kicked us out at 455pm so clearly we could not swim for long since check in was at 3pm & settling into the room was a mission (AC was not working in both the room 3202 /living room suite), fridge was not cooling, we called for towels and toilet paper which never came. It was a hot mess for a Friday. Saturday morning housekeeping was quick to come kick us out even though we paid for an extra hour - late check out.. no service was expected since we have stayed here plenty of times for the convenience of the location but to not be able to get (2) fresh towels and 1 roll of paper toilet was ridiculous. Definitely don’t plan on staying here again. Doesn’t matter what you pay for compared to other hotels- the minimum Tropicana can do is provide some towels for their guest.. we tried picking it up multiple times from concierge - lobby- calling & the next day from housekeeping himself and the attitude he gave me for asking for a towel was crazy. Like sir I’m not waiting until later when you expect me to be out of the room on time .. I needed to shower but we used the only towels we had to dry the floor since our shower head pressure was very wide (no complaints there) just wasn’t expecting the water to go outside of the tub. check in & out was easy on the kiosk yet the additional charges were confusing and the lady that we asked for help at the front desk was not helpful

From the minute i walk in to check in i was treated as if i wasn't important because i wasn't a five customers the guy the check me in his name was jose he was very rude and condescending he kept saying very loudly where other customers can hear that my room was only a standard room as if to say it was trash at i join the line with my wife no one was on line apparently i went to the wrong cause jose shout this line is for 7 star customer high roller sent us back to the regular only to call us back after we walk to the line as if we don't belong to that line mind you no one was in line we felt very embarrassed and that was my second time to this hotel i will never come back or recommend this hotel to anyone evrn if my life depend on it...i was told my room is standard so it don't get service like the premium i ahd to ask for towel toilet tissue the bare minimum...our table was very dusty coffee was dirty the fridge had a smell to it...the ice maker area was full of trash for the duration of our trip from Wednesday to sunday no one came to empty the trash there it just terible experience for me and my wife my rating for this experience is minus zero...very poor...bad experience never never Again...and JOSE from front desk is a terible employees if you not a high roller or a 7 star customer...preferential treatment...made me feel less than...shame...hope someone get to read this and reach out to me...my experience was horrible...
