Staff was very helpful and professional. The room was OK - the furniture is a little tired but the bed was ok for me. However, the walls are paper thin, I could hear neighbors snore on both sides of the room. Furthermore, the rooms facing the east either face a concrete wall or a petrol station and/or are extremely noisy due to a major road. I fould it very difficult to sleep there. The rooms are a little cheaper than comparable hotels in the area but next time I will pay a few Euros more and stay somewhere else.

No soundproofing - zero sleep
Unfortunate enough that the hotel is absolutely not soundproof. Couldn’t sleep at all. Service and cleanliness is top, no doubt. But come on, one needs a good sleep during holidays.

Wir haben eher mittelmäßige zwei Nächte hier verbracht. Unser Zimmer war auf der Rückseite des Hotels hin zu einer viel befahrenen Straße und entsprechend recht laut. Auch gab es immer wieder Lärm von einer Lüftung oder Wasserleitung. Der Duschhahn samt Halterung war defekt, es reichte aber gerade noch so zum abbrausen. Auch sonst hätte das Bad eine Renovierung nötig. Aber immerhin war alles recht sauber. Das Personal war stets freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut und wurde laufend aufgefüllt. Als Obst gab es lediglich Äpfel, da wäre vielleicht noch Luft nach oben.

Please accept our apologies for not having our brand new restaurant on the top floor of the Acropolis Select Hotel open but we were dealing with some difficulties which we finally resolved. Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal.
Waren 5 Tage in Athen. Hotel liegt absolut zentral. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten gut zu erreichen. Das Hotelpersonal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Natürlich kann man so ein Hotel nicht mit einem nordeuropäischen vergleichen, da in südlichenLändern andere Standarts gelten. Trotzdem war immer alles sauber. Das Hotel würde ich jederzeit wieder besuchen und bewohnen.

Ein schönes, sauberes Hotel am Fuße der Akropolis
Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war unkompliziert und angenehm. Das Personal sehr freundlich - auch das Bügeln wird einem übernommen :-) - Ausser dass das Frühstück nicht üppig aber Ok war, war es sonst in Ordnung.

Also das personal war ja ganz nett und sauber war es auch aber das Frühstück geht überhaupt nicht noch billiger gehts ja gar nicht und Kaffee oder saft ist zu vergessen. Wirklich schade wenn dann nur zum Übernachtung aber auch nur wenn man griechisch versteht weil tv keine deutschsprachigen Sender.!

The room had a large balcony with an amazing view of the Acropolis. The AC worked great. We were also on the 6th floor and were close to the rooftop restaurant/bar which was excellent. The live music at the restaurant was really good as well. This property was a 5 minute walk to all our tours, the Acropolis museum and the main street with all the restaurants and shopping. Never had to take a cab.

The hotel is very walkable to some local bakeries and close proximity to the Acropolis and surrounding neighborhoods. We did not bother renting a car and found getting to and from the major historical sites quite manageable. The staff were excellent and worked with us to setup transport to the airport and the rooftop restaurant had good food selection. Only downside might be the smaller shower some tourists might not be used to. The bed was quite comfortable.

All the main attractions are within 15-20 minute walk. Very clean rooms, staff are friendly and informative. The roof top restaurant is amazing great view of the acropolis and the pantheon. Food in the restaurant was very good, well presented and amazing value. Breakfast in the morning was very nice, always being topped up by staff. Would highly recommend this hotel

It was convenient to the Acropolis area and had some nice amenities.... a bottle of wine, a complementary evening drink, breakfast buffet. All thinks that made the stay more pleasant and comfortable.

The rooms are big enough, nice bathroom, refrigerator, coffeemaker. No option to reuse towels. AC light was a bit annoying and we struggled with using a duvet which was too heavy and setting the AC cool enough without freezing us (a fan only setting would have been nice). Need to start bringing our own sheet to Europe! Very busy noisy road so sleeping with the slider open was not an option.

The property was cozy and quaint. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was alking distance to the Acropolis, The Museum and other points of interest. The cuisine at the rooftop restaurant/bar was excellent and the view was amazing. The Saxophonist on Friday night was a nice touch. The only recommendation I would have is include transportation option to/from airport/ferry.

Rooftop breakfast and dining lovely view of sea. Staff were very friendly. Great location on nice closed walking street. Some night street. Pose but not late. Would return here and recommend

Great place to stay! The room: We stayed in a clean & comfortable twin room with a balcony. The bathroom was quite small but to be expected for European standards, other than that the room served its purpose. Location: Great location, walking distance to the Acropolis, as well as rental car offices. No parking available onsite, but there is a parking garage just a few metres away where we were able to park our small rental car. The metro is also just up the road, as well as many restaurants & dining options. The hotel also has a rooftop restaurant which has an amazing Acropolis view, great service & delicious food. Buffet breakfast is also available downstairs each morning. Staff: Extremely friendly, helpful & responsive. Overall we had a great stay and would happily stay here again 😊
