Beautiful property with amazing views and great vegetation! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable after our 3 AM arrival at the hotel, we are super grateful! They gave us a tour of the coffee plantation and gardens from where food is sourced to the restaurants! The pool and amenities are amazing as well!

This property is gorgeous inside and out. The dining options are great. The view of Mt. Meru is spectacular. The lighting in the bedroom and plugs are well spaced, modern and well thought out. The property is clean and we'll maintained. It is close to the market and other locations. Also, it blends well with the environment. I used the spa twice which was amazing service and the gym and sauna are wonderful as well. Lastly, the service is perfect. Everyone is so kind from check-in, to the restaurants, and to the manager Ashish who was a great help when I was confused. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel in the front and back end of my trip to Tanzania and I will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous property. The rooms and dining amenities are beautifully designed, spacious and light. Great chill music playing softly everywhere. Stunning mountain views. And, the secret surprise is extensive tropical gardens with loads of coffee plants, and organic vegetable and herb garden, and fruit trees. A little piece of paradise in Arusha. Very inspiring artisan collective on the property with a cafe -Sanaa - where people with disabilities make beautiful textiles, glass objects, jewelry, and more. Polished and gracious staff from front desk to housekeeping.

This is a best in class stay! We have traveled the world, staying in the high-end luxury options to the budget-friendly finds. The Arusha Gran Melia is definitely top tier. The spa experience is a must (shout out to Olivia and Freda, just amazing!) so treat yourself upon first arrival; your body will be so thankful for the healing arts. Staff are pleasant and helpful, food is diverse and excellent, and the bed/sheets ensure a deep sleep. We are so glad we changed plans slightly to enjoy restorative days at the Gran Melia! Highly recommended.
