Sensatonelle Aussicht und super Bungalow
Jeder Gast wohnt in einem eigenen kleinen Haus mit Terasse und direkt Blick auf den See. Einfach Traumhaft. Das Bett ist eine Etage höher in dem Haus, sodaß man auch aus dem Bett den Blick über den See hat. Von allen Seiten sind Fenster, welche mit Mückenschutznetzen versehen sind, so daß Frischluftliebhaber mit offenem Fenster voll auf Ihre Kosten kommen. Zudem befindet sich eine Britt Kaffemaschine auf dem Zimmer. Die CostaRica Variante der Nespresso.

Wunderschöne Aussicht direkt aus dem Bett
Ein sehr schönes Hotel, Sicher, gepflegt mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht perfekt um sich zu entspannen. Die Zimmer und das Bad haben einen sehr schönen Stil, die Anlage drum herum ist sehr gepflegt und idyllisch, um den See herum auf kurze Distanz gibt es viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.Mehr kann man von einem Hotel nicht erwarten.

Tropical lakeview & delicious food
We stayed in a family house with our 2 kids. The little houses are perfect for a family although kids had to go through our bedroom and through the bathroom to get in their own bedroom. It's cosy and decorated as you can see on the pictures with lovely animals and plants that add some joy to the walls. The bathroom is a bit basic. Each house has a direct view on the lake and its own private terrace. Dining was a very good experience and the whole family enjoyed the local fooding mixt with belgian & german influences. In the neighbourhood, a short drive to the volcanoe provides plenty of adventures; we enjoyed the most going up to the volcanoe and walking around it. The canopy tour at Mistico was fine too. On our ways around the area we could see some animals like lemurs, foxes, many birds, and some monkeys and some cats and dogs.

This property is magical. The view feels like a private oasis in the mountains. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodations are exactly as pictured but the views are impossible to capture. The pool is a great with cool water and in room coffee and a fridge were unexpected treats! Housekeeping came each day to refresh and restock supplies to keep us tidy. Horseback riding with Mingo booked through La Mansion was the best experience of our entire trip! It was just our family of 4 through the farmlands, mountains and rain forest. He took as at our speed and let us jog the horses a little. The animals were beautiful, well-behaved and well cared for! We got even more out of this experience because we speak some Spanish but you will love it either way. We spotted lots of toucans in the trees and the views with picture spots were great! We enjoyed a light dinner and a full meal on two separate occasions and they were both good! Daily breakfast included in the rate made it easy to start the drives to activities easier. The staff in the restaurant are all super accommodating and friendly! There is a Spanish restaurant w/in walking distance along with shops for snacks and coffee. We didn’t try them but were happy to see after reading earlier reviews. Our favorite spot was a pizza and burger place just a few minutes away. Eclectic and great vibe! Driving at night without street lights is tough on the curves so eating nearby felt important to us.

This was a wonderful stay. The view was spectacular. We sat on the porch every morning and evening to enjoy the birds. FYI, there are lots of bugs- I would recommend bug spray. The staff is perfect.

We enjoyed it very much ! This is a less hectic area in the other side of the lake around 45 minute drive from fortuna. The food was good and the staff very kind! The view of the sunset from our bungalow was breathtaking. The room was really nice and clean, comfortable and quiet The bar and the pool closed a little earlier than we expected and if you are in Costa Rica in vacation having the pool closed a 7 pm is a bummer especially with the weather. But overall this is a place I would love to go back and will recommend.

Beautiful place. The views from the hotel is amazing. The rooms are huge and has a lot of area. Property is pretty big and provides very good views of the lake area. Swimming pool is very good. Food can be an issue if u are staying for multiple days. There are not many varieties, especially for vegetarians. Also, the property is a bit far from other general tourist attraction areas and other places to eat. So car is needed to get around.

We had the most wonderful experience at La Mansion! Our room/casita was perfect for our family of 5, and the views from anywhere on the property were spectacular, especially at sunset. The service was outstanding - from the restaurant staff to the reception hosts - making us feel welcome the minute we arrived. Our reception host walked us to our room, explaining the area and even getting us a couple of Imperials when we mentioned a beer sounding good after a long day of driving and hiking. We highly recommend La Mansion and would definitely stay here again and again!

We loved our stay here. The views over the lake from the suites, restaurant and pool are stunning. The suites have so much character. It is close to tourist attractions. 40 min to most things but the drive is easy and we found the view, privacy and country stay preferable to busier options. The included breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed at La Mansion for one night and absolutely loved it. The property is incredibly beautiful and the views are breathtaking - just as pictured in the photos. Our villa was so lovely - spacious and with a front balcony with the most amazing view. The staff is helpful and the food and drink options are wonderful. The hotel is relatively isolated - there aren't amenities close by other than a little convenience store. We stayed here as a stopover en route from La Fortuna to Monteverde, and it was perfect for one night. We would highly recommend staying at La Mansion!

The natural beauty and the houses are absolutely wonderful, the staff is the best I have ever experienced. My wife unfortunately broke her ankle the first night we stayed there, a freak accident, and the staff was so caring! Their staff loaned us a wheelchair and crutches. The food was absolutely fantastic as was everything! Can't say enough good things about the resort and staff!!!

It was a very clean, comfortable place to stay. The staff were amazing and very courteous. I will miss having our morning coffee and evening drinks on the back patio overlooking the beautiful grounds and Lake Arenal. I would highly recommend this place. Overall we had a great experience. The only downfall was the location is a little far from day activities, so it was a little difficult to get a ride to places. The restaurant is good but not that many other area to eat around the hotel. Also, some of out outlets didn’t work, therefore a room was very dark.

We enjoyed the warm water pool. It had a beautiful view of the lake. Our room was beautiful with a private patio and lake view. There were horses that walked by each morning and were charming. Very peaceful place. A 15 min walk/trail down to the lake was nice. The breakfast was a buffet and included many good options including scrambled eggs, gallo pinto, fruit (watermelon, papaya and pineapple), plantains, pancakes, cereal. Great alcoholic drinks at night. Dinner options were okay. Would return.

Amazing view delicious free breakfast
This place is so beautiful. Even though it took us about 30 minutes to get to our attractions it was well worth it. The staff is so friendly and helpful especial the night security Fernando. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Mostly everyone spoke English. The bungalow was huge with 2 bathrooms. The view amazing.

I booked one room through Expedia. I arrived and was told I had 2 rooms. I showed all of email records of my booking and was told I needed to contact Expedia. Expedia told me that since the rooms were non refundable they could do nothing about my ghost reservation. Super disappointed in both. The place itself is lovely and staff are friendly but not worth double the price.

We loved our stay at Le Mansion Inn. The staff is amazingly nice, the grounds are more than beautiful. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The two pools are such a nice add-ons for some end of day rituals. Breakfast is good. Try the Fresh Lemonade by the pool, you won’t regret it. lovely lovely place for people travelling with pets. WONDERFUL service from check in, to the restaurant, to the pools, service and check out. The views were phenomenal and we were at just a great distance from arenal (~40 min drive). The beds were comfy, had AC, and the staff were soooo friendly and helpful!

Property and the staff were welcoming and showed great hospitality. Cesar and Christopher at the front desk, Luis (Bar), Marice (Restaurant) were really amazing and provided great service. The property provides a great view of the Arenal lake and has perfectly located swimming pool and heated pool. Breakfast included with the reservation was good. Cesar provided some good recommendations for the activities and we did ziplining at Fortuna. Overall, great !!
