Ideal gelegen zum Erkunden der Stadt! Das Hotel ist ganz neu renoviert – ein super Mix zwischen moderner Einrichtung und den wunderschönen Altbau-Elementen. Bequemes Bett, gute Zimmergrösse. Schön ruhig. Der einzige Minuspunkt: Abfluss im Bad hat gemüffelt.

Hotel and rooms very clean. Staff helpful. You can hear dogs barking or loud children from rooms around you so you might want to bring earplugs (pretty much standard in Europe). There is street construction but the hotel put us in a room far away from that noise. Overall a nice place to stay.

Fijn hotel, mooi en op een hele fijne locatie. Was goed betaalbaar voor een 5 sterren hotel. Kamer al klaar bij een vroege check in, is een extra plus. Wij hebben niet gekozen voor het ontbijt omdat dit vegan zou zijn. Wel erg gehorige kamers beide nachten midden in de nacht wakker geworden van mensen boven ons en op de gang. Ook sluiten de gordijnen slecht, dus veel licht in de kamer. Verder net jammer dat de barman kapotte glazen (hapjes eruit) wilde serveren, past niet bij een 5 sterren hotel.

Les photos de la catégorie de la chambre ne correspondaient pas tout à fait à la réalité. Les exemples montraient de grandes fenêtres, des chambres lumineuses. Le personnel a gentiment accepté de me proposer une seconde chambre car la première n’avait qu’un petit velux. Même cette seconde chambre n’avait qu’une fenêtre en hauteur. C’était un peu décevant. Pour le reste, l’hôtel et les chambres sont très jolis et confortables.

Very nice hotel. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Check in & out was very easy & fast. Lovely, spacious room (no view, but ok) and nice beds. Mini-bar included! Hotel bar is fine, some bites available too. Breakfast was fine, plenty to choose from. Surrounding is also great: near 'de Meir' shopping street and the more lovely, little streets with small local shops, restaurants and bars. I would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, would recommend!
The hotel was beautiful. Convenient to most major places. The shower did leak into the bathroom which was fine as it was all tile, just messy. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The room was ready before check in time and they will hold your bags for you prior to or after check out.

Den växtbaserade frukosten toppar alla frukostar på alla resor jag någonsin varit på. Och jag har rest mycket och bott på många hotell. La habitación que nos dieron estaba frente a un bar y las ventanas no están insonorizadas por lo que pudimos dormir hasta la 1de la mañana todos los días, y creo que pasa lo mismo con todas las habitaciones porque se escucha mucho el ruido de la calle. Al final me querian hace un cargo por persona extra siendo que habia contratado para 3 personas. Las instalaciones estan muy bonitas pero lamentablemente no se pueden disfrutar.

Be aware for the following: avoid room 14 - as thus room is located next to the kitchen/preparation area, its a vegetarian hotel - so good luck finding any other food. Best is to eat outside, also service is so so...you have to look for people. However its very peaceful and has a classy atmosphere. We were really unhappy with the lack of non-vegan food options incl the lack of variatity of knick knacks at the at the bar...after 2 peanuts you dont want to eat more. We decided to make this our hotel of choice, but will remain frustrated with the lack of food options. Note that beers are being poured in normal glasses and for an ex-Belgian (left 35 years ago) that felt like a sin...they are missing some of the belgian touches that we are known for.
