Empfehlenswert
Sehr gute Wahl für unsere Rundreise (1 Nacht). Zimmer sehr geräumig und für schottische Verhältnisse gross und renoviert. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Auch das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sonst gut ausgestattet und sauber. Da das Fenster gegen den Innenhof gerichtet war, war es sehr lärmig, da die Küche des Restaurants auch zum Innenhof ging. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr, sehr fein.

Very recommendable
Short stay for one night (single room). Room was very nice, especially the bathroom was big, modern and very welcoming. Staff is very friendly, and food as usual at the Waterfront very delicious. Couldn't think of a better place to stay comparing price to offer.

Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert für preiswerte, saubere Unterkunft auf kurze Entfernung (10 Auto-Minuten) von dem wesentlich teureren und stets überbuchten St. Andrews.

The accommodation was lovely and the area very nice. They need to fix the WiFi. Service at breakfast was very slow on one morning but the food was good. We ate once at the restaurant in the evening and the food was less good

Great experience with friendly helpful staff, excellent food (not your pre-packed re-heated stuff) at reasonable prices and modern, clean facilities. Room and en-suite was excellent. Only minor irritation was poor internet connection that timed- out quickly. This also affected TV service which relies on internet (presume because no standard TV signal available). Also a bit of gurgling from room next door's en-suite drains (Room B). Think this might be sorted easily if an air admittance valve could be fitted. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

It was very nice except for 2 things: 1."free parking" means free on the street not at the property.Challenging for right sided drivers and tiny streets. 2. Internet very sketchy and drops continuously requiring continous re signing on and sometimes computer restarts. They are aware. Other than that, really nice place.

Quaint and comfortable
This was a nice little place and the room was very clean and spacious and comfortable. Parking was down the street but we were able to drop luggage and pick up luggage right out front. The only complaint I have was the same complaint I have about every place I’ve stayed on my trip to Scotland - lots of twists and turns and stairs and cobblestones with my luggage.

Great room in a great location
Anstruther is a lovely place and the waterfront is right in the heart of it. The Waterfront is a well run place and the room were excellent. The breakfast which was included in the room rate was really outstanding.

Very comfortable stay
Hotel is in a great location right in the middle of town. Our room was tucked away behind the main building so was really quiet - It was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and all of the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. We would return.
