Internet sehr langsam. Eigentlich nur lohnenswert wenn man auch vom Internationalen Terminal weiterfliegt. Sonst muss man erneut durch die Passkontrolle was lange Wartezeiten bedeuten kann. Ich hatte einen Morgenflug und wollte mir die Zeit an der Sicherheitskontrolle sparen. Unterm Strich hat es sich nicht wirklich gelohnt. Zimmer sind wirklich klein und spartanisch aber ok. Meine Klima ließ sich nicht steuern daher war es relativ kalt über Nacht.

Alles was man braucht
Na ja - es ist was es ist - ein Kapselhotel im Flughafen (Airside, Nicht-Schengen). Wer Luxus erwartet ist hier falsch. 100 mal besser als die Nacht auf einem Wartestuhl oder auf dem Boden zu verbringen. Anständige Matratze, Toilette, Dusche, TV und Klima - perfekt für eine Nacht. Check-out um 7!

Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit
Erstbekam ich ein bereits benutztes und noch nicht wieder neu vorbereitetes Zimmer. Dann ein Zimmerwechsel wo die Keycard nicht programmiert war. Nach der nach-Programmierung brauchte es vier, fünf Versuche, bis die Tür öffnete. Nachdem all die Aufregung sich gelegt hatte, war es aber ein recht angenehmer Aufenthalt, nur, dass es sau-Kalt war dank der hervorragenden Klimaanlage, die leider nicht auf die Abstellung und die Erwärmung des Zimmers reagierte.

Das Hotel erinnert an japanische Kapselhotels und befindet sich hinter der Sicherheitsschleuse des Non Schengen Bereichs, dh wirklich nur für Transitpassagiere gedacht....und man wird morgens um 7 Uhr rausgeschmissen...

It took us forever to find the location and we received several different answers from the airport staff as to where to go. We ended up being told to exit the airport, just to be told we had to go back through. The shower didn’t drain properly and the drain made a loud sucking sound. We couldn’t control our own air temperature and the tv wouldn’t turn on. There was also a very loud noise during the night coming from somewhere.

Het is een transithotel, bevindt zich in Lounge 2 in de transitzone van de luchthaven Schiphol Airport. Prima ontvangst en uitchecken was vlot en aardige medewerker. Het hotel ligt midden Kamer is een ‘cabine’, met wc en douche achter een glazen wand, het was erg klein en ook behoorlijk benauwd vanwege weinig verlichting. Thermostaat was ingesteld op 18C maar het bleef erg warm. Voor wat ze bieden is het aan de duurde kant. De badkamer was niet echt schoon, water liep slecht weg en föhn en een badmatje ontbraken. Koffie en thee was inbegrepen en aan de balie op te halen. Koffers konden niet mee in de cabine omdat er geen plaats was. Die hebben we voor 9 euro per stuk afgegeven bij de bagageopslag, deze is 24 uur per dag open. Ons vertrek de volgende ochtend was vroeg, omdat we weer opnieuw door de douane moesten zijn we een uur vroeger opgestaan. Concept is aardig, puntjes op de I ontbraken. Prijs voor 2 personen was 180 euro voor 5 uurtjes slapen. We boekten deze overnachting omdat we gestrand waren op Schiphol vanwege onze geannuleerde vlucht, voor een paar € meer slaap je in het Mercure ook achter de douane, maar daar was geen plek.

Didn't need to exit the airport to access this hotel. Had a 15hr layover but no access outside the airport. This was a life saver. Shower floor was a little cracked and possibly had water going under. Water also pooled into toilet/sink area. But it was such a minor issue that it didn't bother me. Overall, the stay was nice and convenient.

it was very hard for me to find it. I arrived around midnight, passport control was closed. I had to find somebody to help me to go through the passport control to get to the hotel. The location is not clearly described, it was very hard for me to find the hotel. Since it was after midnight everything was closed, I had to ask a cleaning crew to help me to locate the hotel. It is a nice hotel, but severely overpriced. I was charged $204 for the night for the capsule hotel.

It was a disaster! First, we couldn’t find the hotel, despite numerous inquiries. Then when we found the hotel, we had to inquire of the front desk how many things worked, lights, bed, etc.

The shower area was not level, water seeped into the toilet area. And the tv did did not work.

Heading home after a long couple of weeks
Only unfortunate thing is….. took about 45 minutes of walking in circles to find the location. Would have liked a little instruction regarding lights etc as it was pitch dark. Had to find my phone and use the flashlight. A wash cloth would have been handy and the battery on the remote was dead (so no TV). Too exhausted from traveling to go to front desk. All else was good, served my needs. Having to check out at 7am for a 10am flight. A little frustrating.
