Ausgezeichnetes Hotel in Amalfi
Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meersicht. Wir haben im Hotel im Restaurant Sensi zu Abend gegessen. Ausgezeichnet und sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Dieses Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Nice Hotel next to the beace and bus Station (Touristbus and bus to Neapel, Salerno, Sorrent and to other Places!) 2 Min. to the centre historic with restaurants and shops. 3 Min. to the bootstation to Positano, Minori etc. The Hotel has not Privat-Parking but there is a Parking next to the Hotel 20.— Euro in a day. Hotel very nice, breakfast rice and good, Staff very very nice! Lunch and Dinner in the Hotel possibel. The place in front of the Hotel ins a very bussy place but in the night it’s calm

Sympathisches Hotel an Top-Location
Wir haben das "Residence-Amalfi" bereits zum zweiten Mal besucht für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Amalfi, wieder mit einem Zimmer der Kategorie "Deluxe". Vom Balkon zum Meer hin kann auch das rege Treiben von Verkehr, Besuchern und Bewohnern hier wunderbar mitverfolgt werden. Das Zentrum Amalfis mit vielen hübschen Bars, Restaurants und Shops befindet sich gleich um die Ecke. Die Preise sind - wie an der ganzen Amalfi-Küste - stolz, Zimmer und Service absolut ok. Das Frühstück entspricht den vier Sternen des Hauses leider nicht.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Zimmer mit Meerblick buchen.Stilvolle ital. Einrichtung. Sehr zentrale Lage, bei geöffnetem Fenster recht laut. Ideal für Unternehmungen in die Umgebung, Bootsanleger , Bus u. Taxistand direkt vor der Haustüre. Ideale Anreise auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, da kein Treppenlaufen notwendig. Personal sehr freundlich. Schöne Frühstücksterasse mit Blick aufs Meer.

I don't have words for this amazing hotel. Service was outstanding! Antonio, Andrea and Vittorio were super helpful. Every recommendation they gave us from the restaurants to beautiful walks in the morning (and wise counsel on hiking), all recommendations were considerate and appropriate for what we were looking for and more. Room so clean and beautiful and the restaurant and service there is excellent. We will come back as soon as we can. Thank you all!

A clear lack of communication
I had the great misfortune of being in town on November 30th where at just after midnight, we were violently awakened to a barrage of fireworks and random explosions that lasted until 5:07 in the morning. Unbeknownst to me at the time, November 30th is a holiday in Amalfi for the patron Saint Andrew (Sant'Andrea) and the celebration begins at midnight and continues with various festivities throughout the day. All of that is fine and I totally get it, I mean, no one is going to complain about a celebration for a saint! But to not be informed of it at check-in and to be left completely baffled as to what in the hell was going on in the middle of the night is unforgivable. Further, to not offer an apology or even an acknowledgement is equally shameful. At the very least, with proper notification, we could've altered our days in Amalfi to avoid losing an entire night's sleep while on vacation. I chose Hotel Residence specifically because of its outstanding online rating and didn't even blink at the cost. But the lack of communication on something so significant as a five hour fireworks celebration in the middle of the night is egregious and a clear nonfeasance by the hotel staff and ownership. It's as if it never happened. And no, to this day we still have not been offered an apology or even an acknowledgement.

This is probably the best hotel in amalfi. We had a sea facing view and were right in front on the bus stop and ferry station. The only negative we found was it did not have AC on since we were visiting in Novemeber which is a bit odd for a 4 star hotel to have amenity like AC determined based on the weather outside. We are used to having AC at night. But overall I would not recommend any other hotel but this one for your stay in Amalfi and I would stay here again if visiting here.

Right in the city across from the bus station. This is the place you want to say at. You won’t need to have anyone shuttle your luggage cause it right at the bottom across from the beach club and Public beach. Great breakfast.. eggs, cheeses, salads, breads and pastry’s. The staff is super helpful and gave us directions and helped us map out the buses and ferries. Great view and awesome location. You really can’t beat it.. right where the shopping is and all the restaurants.

We wanted to have dinner in the elegant terrace restaurant but only allowed if you have the full-blown tasting menu , The restaurant is a different company to the hotel. So we went elsewhere while restaurant only a fraction full. Seems silly to me.

Love love loved our room at this property, the sea views were incredible, the balcony was small but all we needed, the location was perfect, so easy to walk around, buses just out the front, but surprisingly not noisy. Would definitely come back

About as central as it’s possible to get. A lovely view from the front, our room had a balcony overlooking the bay. Simple decor, but very in keeping with the area. Decent breakfast included.
