Lässt kaum Wünsche offen, richtig gut
Geheimtip in der Vorsaison. Top-Anlage zum fairen Preis. Ruhig und kultiviert, sehr sauber, freundlicher Service. Kluge Anordnung der Wohneinheiten lässt die Größe des Objektes nicht erkennen, Privatsphäre wird groß geschrieben. Im angegliederten Italian-Restaurant & Bar ist jedoch die Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personal schwankend und durchaus ausbaufähig. Hier fehlt Training des Servicepersonals.

Es handelt sich um eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, eingebettet in eine hügelige Landschaft in einem Pinienwald. Die versetzt angeordneten Reihenhäuser bieten Terrassen mit Gartenmöbeln, Liegen, Ausblick ins Grüne und entsprechend Privatsphäre. Die Ausstattung ist sehr komfortabel und vollständig für einen angenehmen Urlaub; dabei ist gerade in der Küche (z.B. Tablett, Kaffee fürs erste Frühstück, Waschtrockner, Mülltrennung, ...) oder in den Bädern (z.B. Spiegelbeleuchtung, Pflegeprodukte, Handtuchheizkörper, ...) das ein oder andere Extra zu finden, so dass keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Es handelt sich nach unserer Meinung um eine sehr gut geführte Resortanlage; zwar standardisiert ohne einen persönlichen Charakter, wofür man ansonsten eben ein komfortables privates Ferienhaus wählt.

Sehr schoene Anlage inmitten eines Golfplatzes. In den Premium-Apartments der uebliche gute Standard der Diamond Resorts. Hochwertige Vollausstattung, gute Matratzen. Gut schallisoliert. Kaum Geraeusche aus benachbarten Einheiten zu vernehmen. Mietwagen empfehlenswert.

Ideale Golfunterkunft
Das Hotel ist innerhalb kurzer Zeit vom Flughafen Faro aus erreichbar. Die Villa ist perfekt ausgestattet und liegt in idealer Nähe auch zu den Golfplätzen Pinheiros Altos und Laranjal . Obwohl es sich insgesamt um eine größere Anlage handelt, ist Privatsphäre gewährleistet. Ein gut ausgestatteter supermercado ist ebenfalls vorhanden und auch in der Nebensaison nahezu immer geöffnet.

Ruhiges, schönes Hotel mit kleinen Mängeln
Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen (Achtung: Es gibt immer ein Appartment im EG und eines im OG. Da die Gebäude sehr hellhörig sind, sind Schritte etc. im oberen Appartment unten ziemlich laut zu hören). Die Appartments sind sauber und beinhalten erst einmal alles, was man braucht. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und bietet unterschiedlichste Möglichkeiten zum Zeitvertreib. Leider war das Housekeeping nicht sehr überzeugend. So wird z.B. Duschgel angeboten, aber nicht nachgefüllt, bestellte Extra-Decken wurden wieder weggeräumt oder bei Problemen mit Geruch aus dem Kamin war ab 18 Uhr niemand mehr erreichbar.

Das Hotel liegt ca. 3 km vom schönen und ruhigen Sandstrand entfernt den man am besten mit dem Rad oder dem kostenlosen Shuttel erreichen kann. Die Anlage war sehr groß und gepflegt der nachteil dabei ist das man die Pflegearbeiten auch manchmal hört zb Rasenmäher. Wir hatten ein Bungalow für 2 Personen und 53.- Euro die Nacht. Klar das man da nicht die Luxusversion erhält. Die Zimmer waren aber ziemlich staubig , die Jalousien eklig , die Couch alt und fleckig. Wenigstens waren Küche, Bad und Bett in Ordnung deshal,b war es für 4 Nächte noch ok .Der kleine Garten war auch schön zb für zu Frühstücken , nur auch da waren die Möbel ( Liegen) nicht wirklich einladend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich wie alle Portugiesen die ich kennen gelernt habe. Wer was vom land sehen möchte braucht unbedingt nen Mietwagen denn ausser Golfplätze und Strand gibt es im Umfeld nicht viel. Der Flughafen ist ca 20min . Entfernt und kostet mit dem Taxi ca. 25-35 Euro

Preis Leistung a Bargain..
Ein Super Ressort, wenn man es dann gefunden hat. Vilar Do Golfe oder Golf Quinta Do Lago Sud wäre das GPS... Diamond sowieso steht nirgends... Der Strand ist einmalig. Ich werde wieder dorthin gehen. Auch als Einzel Reisende habe ich mich total wohl uns sicher gefühlt.

Alles perfekt!
Wir waren für eine Nacht dort, um den Zeitraum bis zum Heimflug zu überbrücken. Im nachhinein waren wir so begeistert, daß wir dort gerne deutlich mehr Zeit verbracht hätten! Die Aussstattung der Küche und die bereitgestellten "Basis-Lebensmittel" wie Milch, Kaffee, Gewürze etc. war sensationell! Immer wieder gerne!

Staff were lovely, particularly around the pool & pool bar area. Reception & Shop all very good. Setting was great and the resort had a really good feel about it... BUT... The villa (No.26) was shocking. It was dull, dark, had no useable outside area and was simply somewhere you do not want to spend time...; Very old fashioned, terrible lighting, really dull and just in need of a revamp... I spend a fair bit of time in this region of Portugal (Almancil, Quinta do Lago & Vale do Lobo) & have been fortunate enough to stay at Four Seasons Country Club, Four Seasons Fairways, the Conrad, all of which are within walking distance of Vilar do Golf.., and all are infinitely better. Okay, I hear you say, maybe they cost more, well not necessarily We booked a premium room for 3 nights and the per night rate was equally matched by 2 of the previously mentioned resorts. Further try the Wyndham, across the road next to Fairways. Offers alot more for your hard earned money.... We were booked in to Four Seasons Country Club for a week, but decided to travel over three (3) days earlier.... I had heard good reports about the newly refurbished villas at Vilar do Golf so decided to test them out, specifically asking for one these new ones... However, despite the resort appearing, at least to be quiet we ended up in Villa 26, an old fashioned, drab and quite frankly depressing place to stay... I know that there are better villas, but this review is on my stay... Will I stay here again...No

Good- We booked a one bedroom apartment and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa Bad the car parking area, although reasonably near to the villa was not near to the access path so you had to walk past the 5 villas and back again. Also it was a long way from the pool area and access required a climb of about 50 steps- not good with a painful leg

We come to this area of Portugal about twice a year, have stayed in all the hotels and lots of rental apartments. We went for a Premium 1 bed apartment. It had everything we needed, British tv, heating, a cafe for breakfast and a well stocked supermarket. I did request an earlier check in, but this wasn’t to be. Check in is at 4. Only slight issue was when we left reception to go to the supermarket my husband walked straight into a plate glass window. It looked just like a door…a sticker of some sort would be advisable. We’ll be back.

Apartment furniture very dated, mix up checking is in which prevented us logging onto WiFi. No cleaning service in 5 days. When I called the receptionist said cleaning was done in evening not morning. Turned up when I was in shower getting ready for dinner. Hairdresser was wonderful as was il vero.
