We were very pleased with our stay at Red Roof Inn at Alexandra Louisiana. The rooms were great size and had a fridge, microwave, and tons of drawer space. We had 3 rooms with 2 queen size beds in each. They were kind enough to put our rooms next to one another.

I will stay here again. It was clean, renovated, dog friendly, quiet, and comfortable. I love places that let me travel with my dog. The front desk was friendly. I don't care for hotel breakfasts, so this is what I look for. A place for my dog and no breakfast needed.

Clean, simple, reasonable
I was happy with the cleanness of the room and the updated appearance. It is a little co fusing as when you pull in there is remains of an old hotel up front. The lady that checked me in was very friendly and accommodating. I did have some issues with the door latch not wanting to stay locked. My main complaint was being woke up by housekeeping at 8 am when my do not disturb sign was out and trying the check out the desk attendant couldn't be bothered to stop talking on the phone.

Best bang for your buck.
This was a wonderful surprise. I wasn't expecting our room to be so nice at such a great price. The employees were so friendly and helpful. The bed was SO comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The only thing I would suggest is a rug by the room door. It was raining the night we stayed so the bare floor was very slick, i almost fell. I would most definitely stay again.

Friendly staff and clean comfortable room
As usual, the staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The only problem i found this time was the noise from large trucks in the parking lot. The renovated rooms all seem to be in the front of the hotel near the parking lot and i guess a lot of truck drivers like the hotel. It was never a problem before and it may not be next time.

The office ladies were nice. And the room was what you'd expect for a quick stay. Seemed decently clean. Of course the towels are small and the lighting is dim. But the mini fridge and microwave were clean and working. Main complaints would be a lack of weather stripping under the room door (since the door is just goes from your room to outside, not a hallway within a building). And the walls are suuuuper thin. I got to listen in to someone's 2am conversation next door. Remember, walls dont necessarily mean privacy.

Great stay
Rooms were very nice and comfortable. The only problem, was the room next door to us had a dog that started barking as soon as we got there and didn't stop even after we were inside. After a long drive, I knew I couldn't stay in that room. The front desk was wonderful and set us up in another room right away.

Older but renovated.
I really wasn't expecting much when I arrived. The reviews were great but 5he price was fairly low. The hotel doesnt look like much from the highway. It's an older two story motel. However, it been gutted and completely renovated (at least in the areas i viewed). My room was clean, updated, and the bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have to visit Alexandria often and it will be my new choice for a quiet stay

Older motel that has been refurbished. Totally fine for a 1 night stay. Great price point for a pet friendly stay. Our toilet was running...but we took the lid off and adjusted the float. The floor could have used a mop as my feet were dirty after walking on it.
