Gute Lage am Loch Lomond und Trossach Nationalpark
Die Lage ist gut, da man von dort aus viele Touren in den Trossach Nationalpark und zum Loch Lomond machen kann. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hatte ein eigenes Bad. Die Badtür ließ sich allerdings nicht schließen. Aber da ich allein unterwegs war, hat das nicht gestört. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Außerdem kann man dort auch sehr gut essen. Die Bar habe ich nicht ausprobiert.

Laute Partymusik am Wochenende!
Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, allerdings ohne eigenes Bad! Am Wochenende war sehr laute Partymusik bis früh um 3 Uhr. Sehr schwierig dabei zu schlafen! Das Zimmer war okay. Die WC und Duschsituation im Gemeinschaftsbad unbefriedigendend. Das würde ich nicht nochmal Büchen!

On Friday and Saturday there are the possibility of getting disturbed by the noise from thee music event. The rooms are not the best dressed, the furnitures and so on are a bit old, after the best years. Like the complete house.

Das Hotel liegt gerade am südlichen Ende von Loch Lomond. Man erreicht es entsprechend schnell und sehr gut. Man ist von hier schnell an diversen Orten zum Wandern oder einfach so, am See zum Entspannen. Hotel hat ein vernünftiges Restaurant und eine Bar, um paar Biere zu verweilen. Zimmer ist minimalistisch, aber für die Durchreise reicht dies völlig aus.

Nur betrunken zu ertragen
Das Hotel beinhaltet neben einem Pub mit Biergarten auch einen Nachtclub. Im Pub selber gibt es am Wochenende Karaoke und andere Liveevents. Mit anderen Worten: es ist sehr laut dort. Ab 3 Uhr ist die Musik aus, aber die Gaeste noch in lauter Unterhaltung beisammen. Schlimmer fand ich jedoch die Hitze im Zimmer und den Essensgeruch anscheinend direkt aus der Kuechenabzugshaube. Es liess sich nur eine kleine Fensterklappe oeffnen, was aber nichts half. Der Zustand des Zimmers war auch nicht besonders einladend. Ich habe auf meiner Bettdecke geschlafen, warm genug war es ja, weil sie die Metallfedern aus meiner Matratze etwas abfederte. Servicepersonal war sehr nett. Mir wurden ungefragt Ohrstoepsel angeboten. Das Fruehstueck war auch in Ordnung. Aber es war dennoch ein unangenehmer Aufenthalt, von dem ich aufgrund des Kuechengeruchs in meinen Kleidern noch lange etwas hatte...

This isn't a hotel, it's a flop house for the drunken patrons of the downstairs bar whose karaoke is played excessively loudly till 1 or 3 in the morning depending on the day of the week. If any guest is thinking of trying to sleep before the bar closes, forget it. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed one. It cost the extra nights fee but it was worth it get out of that hell hole.

Very helpful staff. This hotel is at the affordable end of the market, and that should be taken into account. Staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Allowed me to leave my car for a few days whilst I was away walking, which was much appreciated.

There was a nightclub under our room that was not advertised when we booked and it was on untill 3am we didn’t sleep me and my partner are both recovering alcoholics and just wanted to relax without the kids and was kept up all night with the vibration and music

Noise throughout the night No soft close on the doors TV in room didn’t work Taps are loose so reluctant to use Stained carpet Bed was very uncomfortable and old Breakfast was continental (however the bread was stale for toasting) and basically that was your lot However it’s £42 so don’t expect a premium inn

Rooms look nothing like the pictures. Toilet seat missing. Holes in walls. Damaged door. Window broken. Wifi router hanging off wall. Bed broken.

Cost was too high for the type of place. Can hear every movement, floor creak, doors being slammed. The smell of people smoking lingered and there was a wasp nest somewhere nearby. Bed was uncomfortable. The only plus side to this place is the staff.

It was awful disco went on till 3pm we never git any sleep hardly. Spoke with staff as we did nit want to stay another night to go through the same ordeal and management agreed to refund .this is proving very difficult can yoy advise why

Adequate for 1 night
We were made very aware of the noise issues and we know the hotel. There was no hot water in the shower and the sink tap was a bit dodgy, no side tables beside the bed. We were fine with it all as we were familiar with the place already and it was a last minute stay for one night. The staff were fine and polite. Breakfast was self service in a dark lounge area but adequate as long as you could work the toaster and the hot water dispenser. It was fine for what we wanted but not for the customer with no sense of humour.....!

Look elsewhere. No staff on premises when needed.
Got there and the shared bathroom was leaking, so was put into an ensuite. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet. TV didn't seem to work. No signal. When I had a shower in the morning there was only ice cold water, when I went for breakfast there was cereal but no milk, and bread but the toaster either wasn't working or not switched on... I waited ages for a member of staff who didn't seem to be on site as I was shouting hello down the staff hallway and nothing. So I got fed up waiting and left leaving a note onthe desk and doing a feedback, neither of which I have had a response to. It's a shame as it could have been a nice stay.

if it was £20 pn it would be fine
dont mind a bad hotel but the price needs to be proportianat to that. this place shouldnt be charging more than £20pppn. theres only one shower between all 15 rooms, although i didnt have to wate as noone was there when i was. the photos do not look like the room i stayed in. which was old and tired but clean. bar the cold water tap which had black mold in the outlet. the materes was very old and uncumftble with springs poking in my back. but i overcabe this by using the duvey as a matteres topper and the sheet as my duvey. and truning the heating up. tbf they do warn in the booking email that its on top of a night club and the noice is bad. which it is till midnight or later not sure i used earplugs and it didnt bother me to much. pros's its warm shower is good and the locks on the door's work. and also the staff are realy frendly. overall i would say its fine but not worth the £35 pppn mostly due to the noise and matersy. would happly stay there again for £20-25 pppn

Mattress needs replaced.
I wasn't expecting a huge amount. I booked a single room at the cheapest price available. It could have done with some maintenance - the carpet looked fairly new but the door kept sticking on it. The biggest let down was the mattress. It was really soft and you could feel every metal spring. Definitely needs replaced.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Nice breakfast and free parking . Wasn’t told until we got there about the nightclub on site but wasn’t a problem for us although did hear other guest at breakfast complaining about the noise. Bed was comfy and the room was clean and tidy. Scorching hot water when we arrived and then the next morning no hot water at all? Very lively bar in the evening (Friday) night with karaoke . Loved the 20% off of food and drinks for residents. Overall a good experience

Dont stay makes faulty tower look like the ritz
It. Was very nosiey music blaring midnight. Shower was dangerous going from cold to boiling without any adjustment.was told breakfast was at 8am no one turned into cook breakfast had to leave without. Night Porter number at the desk was unobtainable. I don’t know why you advertise such dumps??????

Shocker.
Turned up, and a couple in front of me were checking out they were very unhappy with their stay and had lots of issues, i went to check in and was told the hotel is closed from mondays to thursdays, (i had a confirmation from hotels.com for a monday booking). The manager had reported this to hotels.com repeatedly.

We left the hotel shortly after arriving. We did not stay. Ebookers description of the hotel said there would be a hairdryer in the room and an ensuite bathroom. In reality there was no hairdryer and no ensuite. It was shared bathroom facilities. As the hotel description provided by ebookers was massively misleading, we were unable to stay in this hotel and so I am expecting a full reimbursement of what was taken out of my account

Very good value for money. Only paid 48 for two nights with light continental breakfast. But staff were woefully lacking in ..inititive...and direction except for the lady who served breakfast on our second morning. Sadly I did not get her name. The Hotel has recently been taken over by OYO and I hope that they invest in the building and training for staff to make this a truly wonderful place to stay again.
