Sehr großes Hotel, Auswahl am Buffet sehr groß, Essen durchschnittlich. In den Restaurants war kaum eine Reservierung zu bekommen. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Alles in allem gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Positiv: schöne große Anlage mit eigenem Strand, tolle Pools, die meisten Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, große Anzahl an Restaurants und Bars, Zimmer sind auch für Familien groß genug Negativ: schlechter Service für ein 4-5 Sterne Hotel, z.B. 1 Stunde warten auf fehlende Handtücher im Zimmer 2 Tagen hintereinander; Essen in den Restaurants ist reichhaltig & vielfältig aber geschmacklich nicht authentisch, häufig werden Reste aufbereitet - auch die Themen-Restaurants sind nicht zu empfehlen besonders wenn man authentisch mexikanisches Essen sucht, die Getränke sind mindere bis mittlerer Qualität: es gab in 9 Tagen nur 1 lokales Bier (XX) und ein US-Bier, weder Corona, noch eines der anderen guten mexikanische Biere; auch die Spirituosen sind billige Versionen; Die Zimmer sind okay aber sehr hellhörig - wir waren im Erdgeschoss und man hört sehr laut die vorbeilaufende Gäste, die Elektro-Cars oder auch die Gäste im Nachbarzimmer bei allerlei Aktivitäten ;-); insgesamt scheinen zu wenige Mitarbeiter im Einsatz zu sein - viele Hotelmitarbeiter waren völlig überfordert (z.B. an den verschiedenen Bars); fehlendes Bewusstsein für "Gefahrensituationen" --> es gab oft große Pfützen auf glatten Wegen, die niemand ganz weg machte und wir rutschten mehrfach aus, einmal war der Boden voller Glas von einer Glasscheibe eines Treppengeländers - es gab erst keine Warnschilder und nach dem "sauber machen" blieben noch überall Glassplitter, Antigentest kostet $ 35,- = rip-off

Wir waren insgesamt 3 Wochen in diesem Hotel und sind insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Nach unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und in einem der vorderen Häuser untergebracht. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit zwei großen Betten, einem großen Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche und einem kleinen Balkon. Die Zimmerausstattung ist nicht mehr die Neuste, aber man bemüht sich, diese gepflegt zu halten. Unsere erste Woche war nicht ganz so angenehm. Anscheinend hatte die Putzfrau Stress und hat uns an drei Tagen früh geweckt und wenn nicht sie, dann die anderen Hotelgäste, da die Zimmer ziemlich hellhörig sind. Nachdem wir dann Gäste unter uns hatten die bis nachts um 2 Musik laut gehört haben, habe ich mich an den Concierge gewandt und um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten. Das war überhaupt kein Problem. Man hat uns dann in einem der hinteren Häuser ein neues Zimmer gegeben. Dort war es zwar etwas weiter zum Pool und Restaurant, dafür aber ruhiger. Während wir einen tollen Ausflug gemacht haben, wurden uns die Koffer direkt ins neue Zimmer gebracht. Man hat sich zudem sehr bemüht und regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder wir etwas benötigen. Wir hatten auch das "Glück" einen Hurrikan erleben zu dürfen. Das Personal hat uns sehr gut darauf vorbereitet und alle möglichen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen getroffen und nach dem Sturm innerhalb kürzester Zeit alles wieder aufgeräumt und hergerichtet.

The resort was absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean, the wild animals are super cool. The staff is so friendly and gets you everything you need. Pools are nice, beach also (a lot of seagrass which is not their fault and they are working really hard to get rid of it). The buffet got a bit boring after two weeks but there are the themed restaurants that were nice. Steakhouse was the worst of them while the japanese is just perfect. The only little thing that could be better is administration, because the couldnt find our reservation when we got there, had to double pay and then try to get the money back fir two weeks (spent many hours at the reception), but staff was wery helpful. Also the reservation system for the restaurants didn't work. But it was a perfect experience in total. And there are covid tests on site for 35 dollars.

If I could give this place negative stars I would! I have no idea where to start. This has been the only resort I have been to where the staff wasn't accommodating, they weren't attentive, at every bar I went to there was only one person working it so it took forever to get a drink, then they were out of a bunch of stuff when you went to order, when you were sitting around the pool and beach there was no staff to come take orders so of course the bars were packed! My room was a mess, I had ants and roaches and I even called to inform the staff, and NOTHING was done about it I called the front desk, I called concierge, and cleaning service no one came to clean or even offer a different room, I was there with my 2 year old and I was afraid to sleep! The soaking tub was disgusting, and the shower was also disgusting. The AC in my room wasn't working and it was 90 degrees outside I also called to complain about that, and nothing was done or offered for that. Like I had stated before I went with my 2 year old and this place advertised on their website that kids pool area big splash pad and basically catered to kids, NONE OF THAT IS TRUE! The pool area was closed for construction, which wasn't mentioned on the website while booking this was the ONLY reason I booked this place.

Had a blast during our stay in May 2024. It was a quiet week, which allowed us to enjoy the resort in full. Loved the Beach, the nature all around and in the resort, the lazy river, the coffee and juice bars, and the taco bar! Our drinks were on point and we had a private dinner, which was amazing food and service. The bartenders were not always the friendless... and sometimes we had to wait for services- BUT our conceirge was amazing and super friendly /fun and helpful (shoutout to Issac!) The food at the buffet and a la carte's were okay overall. We did a spa afternoon and it was well worth it, and food was amazing there! The furniture and light fixtures are such a vibe- love the decor. I didnt love that they have dolphins... definitely did not support that My sister and I had a great time overall, and look forward to coming back to see the new changes and enjoying this unique resort!

Grand Sirenis is a dream come true, and feels like home away from home. I am so glad we chose to stay at this resort. A/C completely inadequate as checked 3 different rooms, had maintenance come several times and could not cool the room to below 28 Degrees C! Lots of bugs in some rooms too. Talking with others, was a wide spread issue. Ran out of basic drink ingredients several times….no margaritas or Tequila on a resort beach in Mexico….really?! The restaurants were terrible but at least the buffet was actually quite good. The staff was excellent for the most part with the exception of a concierge named “Ice”, if you get her go to someone else!! Long story short, go elsewhere because you DO NOT get what you’ve paid for here!!

Property is doing upgrades. It needs updates. 1/2 was closed down. Rooms are old. Staff is ok. Not like at 4 or 5 star resorts. Resteraunts are not air-conditioned. They are too hot! Cant enjoy meal. Beach area and pool area not kept clean by staff on regular basis. Food and leftover trash left out too long. It is a nice stay but just seems like a 3 star. Have stayed at many 4 and 5 star resorts and they just didnt make us feel like we were there.Food is ok.Unless you are a member, you dont really feel like you get special treatment. Dolphin show is a treat. The spa was ok but they booked us incorrectly and scolded us like we had done something wrong. It was ok for the money we paid but we probably wont return.They have a lot of work to do to elevate their status to 4 or 5 star starting with their staff threating their guests as valued patrons.

It was a really bad experience, we will never be back there. My daughter was harassed by one of the employees. The employees in the golf car that bring you to your room NEVER want to pick us up. I reserved 3 rooms for my family in Mexico and the treatment was horrible. But not all the employees where like that. Kids Club where awesome. The food is very basic for the rate of this hotel.

Loved my stay, usually do not write reviews but decided to leave a mark this time. Service - great, special thanks to Ivan and Carolina for accommodating my requests. Wi-fi - great, available across the whole property. Food - usual mexican one, always smth to find. Beach and areas - well maintained. The issue in this hotel is with A/Cs. They are so dated that never work, neither in rooms nor in common areas, you can not hide from the heat. Buildings have 3 levels, ground floors have AC working but the rooms have crazy smell of mold, we had to change it, with Ivan’s ( blond guy at the front desk, very nice to chat with and always eager to help or improve customer experience, THANKS A TON!)help moved to the 3rd floor which is much drier but A/C works very poorly, so, the nights were sweaty in unpleasant way. On the good side, the hotel does go through renovation, as concludes , should get a perfect score from me.

1. Staff was completely dishonest its feels like its there way of doing business. A. when checking in they told me my room was not ready and it was 4pm and so they got me to another room that was more away from the beach only to later learn that the room i paid for was already taken. B. The planner i used (theres 1 for every hotel building) her nickname was (ice) would tell me the 100$ coupon can be used for anything including going to a theme park by the hotel. That was untrue, its only for the spa. 2.The whole resort would not use there A/C! A. That includes your Room!! It berly works and i even moved to another room incase if that room was bad, but no theyre the same B. The buffet room was super hot and when i ask they would always say its not working. C. My wife and i would be hot the whole time in areas inside resort. 3.Food was pretty lame A. Most of the food is cheap, only time its decent is when u got a dinner scheduled( which is hard gettingscheduled) B. They have lots of the same food everywhere. 4.Rooms are low tier A. The 2 rooms i had didnt have good AC, we where sweating in our sleep. B. The fan is installed away from the bed. Had to sleep on the couch C.the jacuzzi would not hold water D. You can hear everything outside the door.(very possibly they can hear you inside too.) I would not recommend at all unless you got a really good deal. It’s a large beautiful place with lots to offer. Unfortunately the lack of trolleys to help people get around was of concern. They had vip trolleys empty and would still not let you catch a ride even though they were heading the direction needed. Wasting time and resources while hurting guest experience. The lack of working AC in rooms was also unacceptable. We shouldn’t have to sweat at night trying to sleep. Food was fine. Dining was fine. It’s a large place and if you have anyone going with you who may have trouble walking miles and miles a day to get from various points throughout resort do not go. There are no trolleys to pick you up.

We had a really fun family trip here. The pool activities and entertainment was a little too noisy for our liking but we found lots of other quiet pools and beach places. The taco bar and the coffee shop were our favorites. Omg the rock show cover band was awesomely entertaining. Food was OK, lots to choose from but not really gourmet. The staff was so kind and accommodating. One strange thing my husband accidentally left his passport in the safe. It was awful. We got to the airport and called the hotel multiple times and they insisted it wasn't there...until our last ditch effort- we canceled our flights and called them one last time the next day. They had it! Why didn't they call us?? So strange. We got an extended vacation in Cancun and a good scare. If you lose something be persistent and speak with the lost and found staff I guess. The resort is also a bit of a drive from Cancun....and the road there is sporty! Overall great family fun to be had and we felt very safe and pampered. The ocean views were extraordinary.

The property is being remodeled so the noise should not be taken into account much but: During the stay the air conditioning was either damaged or very old which caused long hot nights, the second night around 2am due to the heat already mentioned I decided to take a shower and there was no water either, oh not to mention that a couple of times they cut the electricity (short term). On the other hand, there are quite a few food options which I consider very good. Finally, the concierge invites us to visit the other part of the hotel that is growing, which we found interesting since we could see if it would be worth returning in the future and guess what: a whole morning with the staff of the supposed area VIP trying to sell me a membership to make me a member of their club (not interested in the absolute) and about two hours later, already somewhat angry at the insistence, I reiterated that I am not interested and of course they did not like this answer and they left me march no longer with the kind attitude they initially had when they thought he would be easy prey. An unforgettable vacation lol, every day thinking what will happen next??
