The rooms are very elegant, the garden is quite big and well mantained. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Mr. Jain had organised a very good taxi transport to New Delhi for me and my family. We were all highly satisfied.

Gemischte Erfahrung, Hotel und Einrichtung sind in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal ist professionell aber nicht besonders freundlich. Meine Buchung konnten sie nicht finden. Ich musste eine halbe Stunde warten. Das Zimmer roch nach Feuchtigkeit. Nach 2 mal wächsern wurde ich Upgradet. Alles in allem ok aber auch nicht mehr.

Gutes Hotel mit wenig nettes Personal
Wir haben eine Suite gebucht und eine sehr schöne auch bekommen. Das Personal des getrennten Suiten Bereiches war sehr nett. Lediglich das Restaurant und das Personal waren nicht befriedigend. Sowohl die Buffet-Auswahl wie das bedienende Personal waren ungenügend vorbereitet und nicht dem Preisniveau adäquat organisiert. Teure TajMahal Transportmöglichkeiten. Besser ein TukTuk von der Strasse herbeiwinken als überteuerte Karossen des Hotels nutzen.

Ouiet place in a bustling area
in an environment like Agra it is a gift to have a retreat like the ITC. Close to the Taj with some nice eateries just outside the hotel complex it is an excellent base to explore the sights of the area.

Die Anlage ist leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und soweit gepflegt, unweit des Taj Mahal. Der Pool war leider eiskalt. Das Buffet (Frühstück und Abend) war hervorragend. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel für eine Übernachtung.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden vollends zufrieden gestellt. Besonders schön sind der parkähnliche riesige Garten, das Restaurant Peshawar und die Dachterrasse, von der man das Taj Mahal sehen kann! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Zimmer waren ok, jedoch das Bad alt, eher schlecht unterhalten, was einen schmutzigen Eindruck hinterliess. Es gab keinen Haartrockner, was in einem Hotel von dieser Kategorie zu erwarten wäre. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Lobby war schön, gross und immer mit Blumen dekoriert. Das Schwimmbad war mässig sauber. Als Ganzes ist das Hotel korrekt, aber keine 5 Sterne Wert, mit einem schlechten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sowohl von den Zimmerpreisen her. Die Bar und die Restaurants sind extrem teuer. Die Buffets mit wenig Auswahl.

Very beautiful hotel. It was cold though. My friend and I had booked two rooms and would have needed 2 heaters but there was only on heater left that they could give us. I asked them to go by another one but they didn't. That's not 5 star quality.

Schönes Hotel. Günstig zum Taj Mahal gelegen. Fahrzeit nicht ganz 10 Minuten bis dahin. Saubere Zimmer. Sehr großes Hotel mit mehreren Flügeln und Innenhöfen. In einem Innenhof wird gerade gebaut. Da wir dort nicht sein wollten, wurden wir ohne Probleme upgegradet und erhielten ein anderes Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück und gutes Dinner, aber nicht ganz billig. Insgesamt nicht ganz billig, aber es ist eben auch in Agra.

Tolle Lobby und guter Empfang. Schöner, ruhiger Pool im Spa-Bereich (besser wie Hauptpool!) Das indische Restaurant im Haus, "Peshawri" ist sehr teuer, sieht aus wie eine altmodische Pizzeria und das Essen hat nicht geschmeckt. Das normale Zimmer ist sehr einfach und klein (sozusagen im Keller), die Suite (Upgrade) war sehr schön und riesig. Das Frühstück ist i.O.

Ideal auch für mehr als nur einen Kurzaufenhalt
Wir haben 4 Nächte im ITC The Mughal verbracht. Im Gegensatz von einigen anderen Oberklasse-Hotels in Indien ist dieses wirklich sehr sauber! Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr schön und weitläufig angelegt. Leider war der Poolbereich im inneren Hof während unseres Aufenthalts nicht nutzbar (Boden drumherum wurde erneuert), der zweite größere Pool neben dem SPA hat uns aber völlig gereicht. Im SPA haben wir bei Buchung am Nachmittag noch für den Abend zwei Termine (je 1h) bekommen. Die SPA Preise sind für Indien relativ hoch aber im Vergleich zu Westeuropa/USA noch ziemlich günstig. Das Essen im Hotel ist sehr gut und vor allem das Dal im Peshawri ist sensationell. Die Freundlichkeit des Personal lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Egal worum es ging (Taxi, Zugtickets, Frühstücksbox bei früher Abreise, etc.) alle Wünsche wurden sofort umgesetzt. Abgesehen von der Lage die wirklich für jedes Ziel in und um Agra ein Taxi erforderlich macht, gab es am Hotel nichts auszusetzen. Viele Besucher bleiben nur 1-2 Nächte in Agra um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten im Schnelldurchlauf zu erleben, aber hier lohnt es sich in jedem Fall etwas länger zu bleiben und sich vom hektischen Alltag in Indien zu erholen. Vor allem da der Preis gemessen an dem was man geboten bekommt mehr als fair ist.

Traumhaftes Hotel in der Nähe des Taj Mahal
Das Hotel beeindruckt durch seinen hervorragenden Service und seine Annehmlichkeiten für einen besonders gelungenen und erholsamen Urlaub. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer sowie der gesamten Anlage ist beeindruckend als auch die Ausstattung des Hotels. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, so dass man vom Alltag sofort abschalten kann. Ich habe mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und mir wurde bei jeglichen Fragen kompetent geholfen. Aufgrund des Kurzurlaubs konnte ich den Wellness/Spa-Bereich nicht vollständig nutzen. Dies werde ich aber bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt unbedingt nachholen. Der Blick auf den Taj Mahal von der Oberterrasse ist überwältigend und allein schon deswegen eine Reise wert.

Das Hotel ist im sehr alten Zustand, renovierungsbedürftig. Obwohl ein Nichtraucherzimmer lange angefragt wurde, war beim Einchecken keins vorhanden. Der Pool wird schon über ein halbes Jahr renoviert. Bauende nicht im Sicht. Die Zimmerfenster waren abgeklebt mit Folien (Baustelle), man fühlte sich eingesperrt. Das Personal war überspannt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war mäßig, nicht einem 5-Sterne Hotel gerecht.

Schönes Hotel mit sehr leckerem indischen Frühstück (z.B. Dosa). SPA empfehlenswert, Preise im Restaurant unserer Meinung nach zu hoch angesetzt. Zimmer war gut und sauber, wirkte aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Service vorbildlich - sehr freundlich.

This hotel was very dated dirty, furniture is broken, plugs broken, stained bedding, bathroom fittings hanging off the walls, smells carpets sticky, no WiFi. Food was unbeatable very hard to complain, took hours for the manager to do anything after constantly complaining eventually the manager agreed and refunded all costs, I am still waiting for the refund to be paid into my account From Expedia, there is no knowledge Of this, I need somebody to contact me ASAP

We stayed two nights at this hotel and were expecting a 5 star hotel as indicated via the Expedia booking site. Our first impressions were good up to checkin however our room was tired and needed an update. The room above had a chair or table that was constantly moved a lot which vibrated very loudly into ours. The buffet is extensive and being over Easter there were lots of hot cross buns and other treats on offer. The head chef went out of his way to make sure my wife and daughter’s dietary needs were taken care of. One down side was the number of young children putting their hands all over the food due to a lack of parental supervision. Other staff throughout the hotel did their best to make us feel comfortable throughout our two night stay. Overall I think the 5 star rating is over inflated and I would be pushing to give it a 4.

This was our second time staying at the ITC Mughal and it was better than we remembered. The staff were excellent and were readily available for assistance. The rooms were spacious and clean. Special shoutout goes to the housekeeping staff, not only for making up our rooms but also setting up an extra bed in our room. Would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Agra!

Beautiful oasis of calm
We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful hotel. The service was great and staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options. The only issue we had were the soft pillows and bed which affected our sleep. The staff provided us harder pillows the next day.

Nice enough hotel, convenient for the Taj Mahal. A little more tired than other ITC properties (such as Jaipur). Our room was large and pleasant, but dated, and could have been cleaner. The bar feels a bit ‘transitory’ (there is a corridor running through it). Altogether the stay was fine, and most are only here for a night as that’s all that’s required to see Agra’s main sights. Some staff struggled with English (again not something we’ve experienced at other ITC properties). There was a bit of a faff with the bill on check out - receptionist denied a hold had been placed on my credit card - I had to show him my credit card app to prove it had and then he seemed unsure at how to release it - still pending!
