Great Hotel with some service level defaults
All in all the stay was very pleasant starting with an upgrade. Reception solved all my issues but was sometimess lagging support to reliably inform you about certain attractions or sent you to the wrong destination. Room clean-up very flexible and very good. Gym was well equiped and always cleaned when I was there (although no cleaning after usage of the machines possible by guest / done by staff). Club next door is pricy and is not the right space for just having a beer (fix price table arrangements only). Pool was great and life guards exceptional. Trip to the island was charged AED 50 but was very nice in combination with boat ride. Breakfast was of high quality but service was sometimes not coordinated and waiting times for coffee can be very long. Athmosphere is mostly more familiar than in the IHG Intercontental next door.

In the morning at 9 am i could not get a coffee, in the lobby coffeeshop was no staff, then when i needed to use business center - they could not provide passwords for the computers for 15 minutes, when i needed to print documents - there was no paper in the printer and no people around to help. The property itself is good, just little things show not professional management.

Second time staying here. This hotel is great. The restaurant was strange and it seemed hard to get service but there are many other dining options that you can easily walk to. There is also usually a taxi parked out front so it’s easy to get around if you don’t have a car. The hotel will also call a taxi for you if there isn’t one. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Service in the hotel is 10/10. Definitely recommend this hotel

This hotel is very beautiful and clean. The location is wonderful on the marina. Sunset walks along the marina are nice and there are lots of close restaurants. The hotel restaurant was very strange. It was upscale and beautiful, but the service was confusing. Lots of staff but nobody would approach us. We got asked for our room number four times in five minutes and the wait staff still seemed confused. Food was decent but both orders were incorrect. Recommend checking out some of the the other restaurants along the marina instead

Excellent place ! I was welcomed and checked in by Mr. Ibrahim who was very professional and welcoming. Quick and effortless check in with lots of chatting and laughter, felt so welcomed. The room was amazing, very comfortable bed , blinds that blacks out light and an out of the world view. The toilet had a well designed tub that was very comfortable and for the first time I don’t experience an issue with water temperature fluctuations in Abu Dhabi. I was able to hear the neighbours through the walls in few occasions when they were loud. Catch the sunrise with the breakfast for an amazing view. The breakfast buffet was full of options that are nice and would fit all tastes. Nothing extraordinary but overall decent collection and well rounded chefs. They had a show on the pool one evening that was very nice to watch and a lady playing the harp in the lobby some evenings. The only thing I didn’t like much was the location of my room door to the motion sensors. I had to walk in the dark until half way through the corridor for the motion sensor to light up. The staff are helpful and professional, very well trained and managed. Parking spaces are sufficient for many cars. At the hotel door they have a small bench which the delivery riders use to sit and wait for customers to pick up their orders, I found that to be so nice and humanely.. one doesn’t see that much.

In een 2 persoonskamer zijn maar handdoeken voor 1 persoon (1x groot, 1x middel, 1x klein). Beddengoed zat gaten in. Restaurant geen aanrader, ruim 45 min moeten wachten op eten (het was niet druk). Er zijn veel betere echte 5 sterren hotels in Abu Dhabi.

Great location and value
It's an excellent location wirth spacious rooms overlooking the marina with plenty of nearby cafes and places to relax and enjoy Abu Dhabi before it gets too hot. The hotel has a nice, laidback and contemporary vibe - you definitely get a lot more than what you pay for. The pool looks refreshing (I didn't use it). Another plus, is that there's a bottle shop on premises. The only knock on it is that the F&B )at least what I've tried) isn't great but that's okay because there are nicer places to eat nearby. Service is a bit slow at times but maybe because it was Ramadan. I'd definitely recommend it for tourists who want a place to relax that's not too pricey while being close to the city.

Petit-déjeuner indigne d’un 5 étoiles : à fuir !
La partie chambre est tout à fait convenable pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. Le lit est confortable et la chambre est propre tous les jours. La décoration générale de l’hôtel et la piscine sont très plaisantes. Le service voiturier gratuit est bien appréciable également. Mais énorme point négatif qui gâche tout le reste : le petit-déjeuner qui n’a rien d’un établissement 5 étoiles. Le buffet est décevant, très peu de choix comparé aux autres hôtels 4 ou 3 étoiles dans la même ville. Que des plats Arabes salés très épicés ou des viennoiseries très sèches et consistantes, pas de bananes et même pas de dattes dans les fruits. Niveau boisson c’est la catastrophe le jus d’orange est tellement dilué dans l’eau qu’il n’a plus aucun goût. Seul le jus d’ananas est buvable. Globalement il y a un manque criant de personnel. Il faut courir après un serveur pour lui demander d’apporter une boisson chaude. On ne s’occupe pas du tout de nous quand on arrive en salle. Les serveurs ne savent plus où donner de la tête alors c’est un vrai cirque pour trouver une table propre pour y manger. Cerise sur le gâteau quand j’ai demandé qu’ils remettent du lait au niveau des céréales pour enfant car il n’y en avait plus. Plus d’un quart d’heure après ils n’avaient toujours pas remis de lait. Malheureusement pour cet établissement je n’y retournerai pas à l’avenir car je connais des hôtels 4 étoiles qui sont beaucoup mieux que cet hôtel 5 étoiles et son petit déjeuner au rabais

The hotel is a short cab ride from most of the sites. There are some good restaurants walking distance from the hotel. It has a nice pool, it is clean, the staff is friendly. Like any hotel there are always little things. Something was broke on a desk and taped up, not as nice to look at, they did some alarm testing on a Sunday morning, some of the cabanas at the pool were missing the curtains for the shade. Nothing that was going to make or break the experience. They didn’t offer any upgrades or vip services that come with hotels.com depending on your level, I had to ask and I did get a late check out which was lovely.

The hotel is nice, and from its location, probably had some nice beaches and pools, however, i was there for one night booked at a very high rate 2 months in advance. Listed as a VIP hotel, but I was not picky when i was given a room with no view. Teying to sleep, the room is ontop of the entrance without proper sound proofing, so the vocies of everyone who went in and out throughout the night was in the room. You would think a 5 star hotel would consider this and have the roome better sound proofed. Issues happen, but even worse, upon checkout, requested to sepak to the front desk manager. Was told he is not available, left him my number and 9 days later, he did not call. The combination of both issues are indicative of poor experience in operating 5 star hotels. I urge expedia to remove them as VIP plus.

Horrible service!
The property itself was nice and quite clean but the service was absolutely terrible! We arrived at the pool and there were no staff anywhere to be found. Despite the fact that the hotel was not busy at all, the staff were not present or attentive. The restaurant was almost empty for dinner but the staff there were avoiding coming to our table to serve us. Although the property itself was nice, we will not be going back!
