Description

Prague is a city filled with history. Walk through the capital, learn background stories from the Cold War period and visit a real nuclear bunker.

Follow your guide and hear about the world of spies, lies, refugees and violence that characterised Czechoslovakia during the Cold War. Hear about the country's communist period, when the country was shut off from the rest of the world. Pass by the former Secret Police (StB) headquarters and learn how this police force served as an intelligence and counter-intelligence agency, dealing with anything considered anti-communist between 1945 and 1990.

Take a photo at the biggest Stalin statue ever built. Visit a secret shelter built for the civilian population to hide from radioactivity – a real nuclear bunker from the 1950s beneath the city. At the end of your tour, receive a copy of a nuclear bunker survival guide.

Our guide Katarina did a wonderful job. I thoroughly enjoyed the commentary and learned so much more about Czech history. The tour of the bunker was an eye-opener, and a very interesting part of the tour. Highly recommended.

Such a great tour with Ladiscav (hope I’m spelling that right)!! So in-depth and entertaining. We were very lucky to be in a small group.
