Boutique hotel in dreamy town

Nice family service, unfortunately not English speaking.
Hotel interior and homeware accessories take us back to the early sixties but all is neatly and clean, very comfortable beds. All bathroom toiletries included. I will recommend it for those who are after retro style.
Fast broadband (wi-fi). There is also an off street parking if you come by car.
There is a hotel restaurant (opened from-to specific hours, closed on Sunday) serving excellent food.
The hotel gives a very good impression however for those wanting to explore Paris more deeply not recommended due to distance to the capitol. But for those wanting to experience a French countryside living deliberately this is a perfect choice.
Jouarre is a typical charming French town but there is no much happening there- 2 cafés, pizzeria and a Benedictine abbey.

Downside, restaurant and bar were not open (even though hours posted indicated they should be open) and the only food options by the hotel was the pizza place "LoL" and the neighborhood Quick Market. Bottom line, we had a panini from LoL and enjoyed the wine from the QM. Breakfast in the morning was available and fine - typical fare - croissants, bread, coffee and juice - more than adequate tho.

Gut: It's charm. A typical French family run Logis. I've stayed there before in the 1990's and I'm pleased to say, nothing much has changed
Nicht so gut: Apart from not being able to get a meal in the evening, it's just fine the way it is
Lage: Location is charming , with parking availabl e- just a way to go for a meal if the restaurant is closed
Despite the restaurant being closed (low season, so not unrealistic) the room was comfortable, clean and with no problems
