Comfortable Stay, but Communication and Essentials Fell Short
Our stay at this rental house provided a comfortable and clean environment for our Memorial Day weekend visit with family. The advertised pictures of the house are not accurate and not the same house.
One significant issue was the lack of communication from the host. We did not receive check-in information until we reached out ourselves on the day of arrival nor did we receive checkout instructions. Additionally, when we encountered an issue with the thermostat not activating the A/C, attempts to contact the host for assistance went unanswered, leaving us to improvise with open windows and doors at night to cool the house as it was 78° degrees inside.
Furthermore, while the kitchen was well-labeled, it was lacking in essential items such as mugs, kitchen towels, and basic spices like salt and pepper. Additionally, some cooking utensils were missing, which made meal preparation more challenging.
Despite these shortcomings, the house itself provided a comfortable space for our visit. With improved communication and attention to stocking essential items, this rental has the potential to offer an even more enjoyable experience for future guests.
