Worst place that I have ever stayed, by a considerable margin. I would not keep an animal in such conditions. AVOID!

This purchase was for an extension of my stay from the 25th of this month till today (the 26th) for a bunk bed in a hostel in Madrid. But shortly after such extension was made, there were some serious problems caused by the hostel staff that happened to the customer. At first, they suddenly broke into my room shouting at me saying that he had to check out however at that time I already extended my stay by making this purchase. And more seriously, after the customer reported the misconducts of the hostel staff to the Expedia, they even threw a china cup against me making me unable to keep staying in that hostel due to serious security concerns! Based on the description of this hostel on Expedia, there should be a 2-in-1 washing/drying machine that’s available for the guests to use. However, during my stay there, the hostel staff told me the only option for me to get such services from them was to ay them additional 5 Euros for any one of such washing/drying work and such extra charge was not included in the room charge I paid to them on Expedia app. And more seriously, the customer was told by some other hostels in Madrid that he had already been blacklisted based on the information provided by this hostel (Hostel H8) booked from this purchase on Expedia which made him unable to stay in almost any hostel in Madrid although he never do anything wrong!

Está bastante escondido, la mayoría de paradas de buses y el Metro están al menos a 15 minutos caminando. Los colchones son inflables y bastante ruidosos, resulta incomodo el descanso

Did not have the listed amenities — hot water came out as a trickle, washer was broken and they would not let me use the one they had for staff, beds were noisy, uncomfortable AIR MATTRESSES (not memory foam) with a thin sheet on top and squished-thin pillow, no towel was provided upon check in and, asking later, they said “towel for €5” (acting shocked they added, “oh but it is refundable”), Wi-Fi only works in the cold kitchen, showers aren’t rainfall, there is no bathtub (not that I would use it in a hostel, even one that is clean), location is not near anything other than residential areas, and staff are not welcoming.

Je devais y passer 2 nuits, je me suis enfui après une seule nuit sans dormir ou presque. Petit dortoir exigü de de lits superposés composés de matelas GONFLABLES. Avec le bruit que ça implique au moindre mouvement. Du coup tout le monde empêche tout le monde de dormir. Surtout si votre voisin du dessus se retourne ou se relève. Arrivé 30 minutes après l'ouverture, je trouve une réception fermée à clé. Plus tard tard, je me fais virer de l'acceuil parce que la fille de l'accueil était en train de flirter. J'y avais trouvé refuge parce que le wifi ne passait pas dans le dortpire et que la cuisine puait. Les douches ne garantissent pas une très grande intimité. Par contre, il y a du savon. S'il faut trouver un point positif, je ne vois que celui-là... Complètement excentré de Madrid, dans un quartier un peu glauque. Accès à Madrid (et retour) très compliqué sans GPS (signalisation très mauvaise). Absolument aucun intérêt, même pour le prix. À fuir.

Hice 2 reservas así que comentaré esta también. En la anterior expuse lo terrible de la experiencia. No volvería a este hostel por la falta de seguridad, privacidad y la mala actitud de los trabajadores del lugar así como de los españoles en general. trataban de forma diferente a las personas según su apariencia, entre otras cosas desagradables

El trato desde que llegué fue malo. El chico con mala actitud, déspota, grosero. Los españoles son así también pero él era centroamericano. No había privacidad pues entraban en las habitaciones cuando querían. Tomaron una foto en mi habitación cuando una compañera estaba durmiendo. Supe de la pérdida de objetos. Se comían la comida de los huéspedes. Reglas bastante incómodas que hacen firmar al llegar. Me tuvieron 3 horas esperando en la calle para poder entrar. Toda una horrible experiencia que no repetiría.
